Wow, these things are awesome!!
We need wifi in the ceramic shop on our property and could never get a decent signal from the house (100+ feet away), so I picked up this kit after a bit of web research.Setup was SUPER-easy (Search YT for "Ubiquiti LiteBeam 5AC Gen2 - PTP - How To Setup Guide") and I configured them in the house, as recommended, instead of trying to do it after mounting them. Once configured, connections marked with a sharpie, and placed into separate shopping bags to tell them apart, I took them down to the shop and installed them using 2 of the "Ubiquiti Universal Antenna Mount UB-AM (Original Version)" mounts, purchased here on Amazon. After mounting, I plugged them in, connected the PointA dish to my internet router, and the PointB dish to a wireless router in the shop (configured and tested during dish config).I connected my laptop to the wireless router and logged into the Ubiquiti utility and it said "Great connection". I hadn't even tried to align them yet! After some minor directional tweaking, the internet speed in the shop was almost as fast as inside the house. Yay!A couple of things to note:1. I mounted my dishes under the roof overhangs to keep them out of direct sunlight and protect them a bit from the weather. I also screwed the surge protectors directly to the mounting pole. The mount location is up to you, of course.2. You do NOT need a POE-capable router/switch to use this kit. The included POE injectors provide the required power to the dishes.3. Ensure the POE injectors are INSIDE the buildings. There's no need to have them outside. The only thing that should be outside is the dish, the surge protector, and the ethernet cables. Again, up to you, but highly recommended to keep them inside.4. I also purchased a 10-pack of 10' Cat6 cables from Amazon (Cable Matters brand). I just loosely coiled the excess cable around the top of the dish mount pole rather than buying shorter cables for the short runs.Bottom line: These things work and they work very well. Highly recommended.

Works perfect for my security cameras
Well all I can say is this system works well for what I need for cameras on barn and back of yard over 300 feet away plus wifi if needed in barn. It did need to be configured but that was easy with you tube video took a whole 5 mins if that to do. I am not techy so anybody could configure. Note I tried others that were plug & play and failed right out of box. Do your research this one works.

Great System
I live in rural Iowa, and on somewhat of an island. I am surrounded by a rural phone company but an "Stuck " with Century Link as my phone provider. They do not offer high speed internet and never will to my house. The rural phone company even has fiber but I am 1/2 mile from their service area. I had seen this product several years ago but at that time it was at price point out of my reach. I have settled for a ISP that provided me with 20 MB service at best and normally about 4 if its worked. Three weeks ago it became unsuable. We have been using our cellular data. Last week I stubmled across this product at Newegg, but it was gen 1 of the product rated at 100 Mbps. I did a search and found the Gen 2 whick is rated at well over 450+ Mpbs for $7 more and it included surge protectors. I emailed the rural phone company and the agreed to sell me service if I could find a neighbor that would allow me to place an antenna. I found 3, ended up I will give the neighbor a Case of Coors light each month for the use of his power and TV tower. The system arrived and I tried to set it up in my living room using a youtube video. I became super friustrated. I put everything in the the box and gave up for the evening. About 2 am I got up and decided to try again. I was over thinking the entire process. I downloaded the APP, I plugged both antennas in and with in literally 3 minutes setup was done! That afternoon the phone company came to the neighbors and turne don the circuit. I climbed the tower, installed the antenna. I used the app to tweak the alighnment with my phone. 320 Mbps up and 130 Mbps down. My new fiber cicruit is 50 Mbps. I have the option to bump the circuit all the way up to 200 Mbps. The distance between the antennas is 1 Mile. I do recommend setting it up on the ground first and avoid Youtube videos.

2nd set working great!
I have 2 sets of these on the property. 1 is pumping signal over 1/2 mile up the hill to an outbuilding the other out to my workshop and barn. Could not be happier, the cable I had running to the barn was in a high traffic area that I run heavy equipment over. After a few patch jobs I got fed up and bought these. Simple install and great signal. Could not be happier with the outcome.Update: now I have 3 sets.... after 2 years of use I finally had one device that died. Note to others.. if you don't have link feed and your cable is good, check another device on the same cable to validate. Factory reset, did standard and custom configuration, after 6 hours I gave up and bout another pair. I will say the newer versions are great, easy to setup and no issues connecting. After many storms, high winds, lighting strikes around the property and such, all the others are going strong.

Very complicated to install
Still sitting in the box due to installation and assembly being a PIA

Ubuitit has good ideas but support is not
they go to gether well and fitment is nice. Product setup is simple. I placed both on existing masts. Software configuration and setup is NOT for the IT challenged. You will end up calling for Amazon IT support for configuration.

Work great
Settings can be technical not much instruction for the first time installing

No setup support
I have the source device setup, but the destination is showing no internet. The PDF or the app provides no instruction on how to setup end to end P2P. The submit support ticket option in the app is constantly loading. For a product like this, this is unacceptable.
