miniwell L720-Plus Shower Filter System-for Bathroom Hard Water and Well -Remove Chlorine & Heavy Metals & Sediments impurties- Good for Skin & Hairs

I may be jumping the gun here. I live in Florida, and the water we have is the most disgusting thing I have ever had. I only installed this last night. Took me 5 minutes on each shower. Only my daughter and myself have used it one time, but right away I can tell that this is working. There are 3 things I noticed instantly, and these were the major issues we were having, being the reason I ordered this. 1 - Smell. Instantly I noticed the water smelled and tasted like normal water....no nasty taste or rotten egg smell. 2 - Water in my eyes, and it did not sting or burn. 3 - THE MOST IMPORTANT!!!!! When I got out of the shower, my skin was not dry. Every time I get out of the shower, my skin would dry up like a prune, and I would spend 10 minutes rubbing my back on the door frame to scratch my back. Also, I would have to apply a lot of lotion to my hands as they were so dry and insanely uncomfortable. After the installation, when I got out of the shower, my skin was soft. There was no itching, and I had no need for lotion on my hands. My daughters biggest complaint was that she felt like she could never get her hair clean with the water we have. After I installed this, she said she could feel the difference right away. Her hair was soft and clean feeling. She also said how she felt the difference on her skin. My biggest reason for buying this was for my baby. She has such dry skin on her back from the water, that every time we change her clothes, as soon as her clothes are off, she starts ripping at her skin. Her back looks like she was whipped from her scratching. The doctor said it is eczema and the water just makes it worse. Once the rash goes away with the medicine, I am looking forward to see how this will affect her after. I will update my review if needed, but so far this is one of the best purchases I have ever made on Amazon and recommend this product 100%.

No complaints. After reading all the reviews about it clocking and the cover being hard to remove I have not had that experience. I it is filtering out terrible terrible well water and rusty hot water. The past few years I was replacing my shower head yearly due to clogging from the rust in the hot water (time for a new boiler maybe) but not anymore. The photos I attached are from less than a week of use. Lots of sediment. For the reviewers mentioning it clogging fast, I see that as a good sign of it doing its job and cleaning the water. With the filter hanging down, when turning the shower off and changing to tub mode the sediment falls to the bottom making it super easy to remove the cap and rinse the crap out to lengthen the service life of the included filter. We have many filters in our home so changing filters constantly is a burden I bare so that may be why I find this as a non-issue. One thing to note that took me a bit to get used to is the filter acts as a sort of temp buffer. So when making the shower hotter or colder smaller adjustments and wait before just sending it and melting or freezing 😂

took my shower head then tried to put in on the area you connect it to , on the filter. it wont fit. the only way to actualy tighten it onto it, is to have a specific shower head that has a 6 sided surface so you can turn a wrench. because alot of shower head ends dont have that, itll be a 2 sided. the area between the pipe crew area, and the actually filter housing is way too close. cant properly fit a wrench of any kind in there to turn it. so with a 6 sided flat surface, you can keep turning tot ighten but they will have to be micro turns other than that, it is very well product and i actually have not needed lotion for a while now since using, and i dont itch

If I could give this filter a 10 I would. We have well water and we do have a water softener and while house filter. With that being said I purchased 1 of these filters for my master bathroom about 6 months ago. Well installed it and loved it. We got busy and forgot to change filter. We just changed it today and we are so disgusted with our water but extremely happy with all this filter has kept out of our water and off our skin. Now that we know how well this works we will be changing filter a lot more often and I just purchased another filter system for one of our spare bathrooms. I will be slowly purchasing these filters for all my bathroom in both my homes. I cannot recommend this filter enough! My husband is not easily impressed by things and he was definitely impressed by this filter this morning. Here are the pictures of the blackness when we opened up the filter and what a new filter looks like. We did also replace the inner filter due to how black the interior filter was as well. I wish I had taken a pic of the mud sitting at the bottom of the filter cup but my husband dumped and rinsed it out before I could find my phone to take the picture. If you can afford to buy these I would definitely recommend!

We've been using this filter system for about a year. All of the plastic components are pretty solid and durable. Installation is fairly easy, just need a strong wrist to tighten it. There's a rubber gasket that failed over time, so I contacted Miniwell for a replacement gasket. They don't have one, so they shipped a brand new filter system to me for free; that's great customer service! As far as the quality of the filter system, my skin is less dry and my wife has stated that her hair is softer; however, there's still an orange residue in the tub/shower. I think the Miniwell filter system is great - not perfect, but it definitely made an improvement in our water quality.

Listen I loved this thing I really did, it did a great job at filtering and our water felt so much better. I bought a pack of filter replacements. The problem is that when it should've been an easy filter change, it wasn't and I had to throw out the entire product, it wasn't apparently one time use. You could not get the bottom of to change the filter. I'm not just some idiot that couldn't figure it out, it was impossible. I tried. My husband tried. My brother tried. My grandfather. The neighbor. The pizza guy. Literally my entire family friends and neighborhood, no one could get it open no matter what. And if you broke it open, it wouldn't be functional. I had to throw it away and I'm currently searching for an alternative product which is a shame because I loved this and now I have a useless pack of filter replacements as well. Do not waste your money on this product, it is not functional. I feel like I got scammed which is all too common with filtered shower products. Such a shame

We had a name brand filter that worked for about a month before the flow was noticeably reduced and that got too expensive. I found this and said “what the heck”. It’s been 3 months and the flow has not changed at all. The bottom o-ring did leak on install and I (using what I had at hand) used a bit of the wife’s conditioner as o-ring lube and it sealed right up, no leaks since.

This thing was a bear to install. I wish the connection to the shower head had a wider angle so it wasn’t so close to the the unit. The awkwardness of the connection took some creative adaptors to get the filter’s angle to install properly with a shower extender & rainfall shower head. Once installed the quality of the water is significantly better. My hair finally feels clean and my skin finally doesn’t itch. It’s worth the effort it took to install. Going forward no need to disconnect the filter from shower, just remember to reinstall the filter in the unit at least once before attaching to the he shower. We took the filter out so we knew how to replace the filter when it came time to switch it. It’s really tight. If you don’t you might accidentally loosen you shower connections when it comes time to replace the filter.
