TW70048ORB 1-Light Transitional Mini-Pendant Ceiling Light, 100 Watts, in Oil Rubbed

I have never in my life written a review for anything, but I felt compelled to write one for this product after the amazing customer service experience I had. I love this light it is beautiful and perfect for the space I want to put it. My husband was taking the glass shade out of the box and he dropped it and it shattered!!! I called the company to see if I could buy another glass shade, I told the lady what had happened and she said “oh no no we will just send you a new one for no charge” what??????? I was so thankful she said it would ship out the same day. What a wonderful experience and a beautiful light.

I really wanted to like these....First of all there are no down rods, the box and instructions say there should be one in the box but neither light came with them, so I had to run out and find them. They would have never hung straight as the cord is pretty bent and there really isn't enough weight in the light or glass to straighten it out. Second, the glass on both was broke, It's thin cheap glass (not tempered), that couldn't handle anything hitting it. They were packed great, and it looks like it may have been the carrier. The CS was great and they were replaced, but one of the replacements has bubbles and imperfections all over it. I could have bought the down rods, cords for 9.00 a piece (same style and color) and had a choice of tempered glass shades at my local store for about 25.00 a light, but I really thought this glass style was perfect for my kitchen. Very cheaply made for the price and you have to spend another 15-20$ on down rods, because you don't want it just hanging from a cord. but it gets a star for style and a star for customer service.

Installed everything (including cutting the cord to length. Then went to remove the retaining "nut" to hold the glass globe on. First, the instructions don't tell you it's already attached and you have to remove it. So I guess and was right. Then, it was extremly hard to get off and was bent. I figured I was missing a part so I ordered a second one to get the missing part. That's what lead me to understanding the retaining nut is metal, looks like part of the light, and was included just defective.Once I got it all put together (having to discard the first retaining nut), the globe didn't sit level. The globe neck is cut at a slight angle so it's tilted a bit.Definitely not the highest quality parts or item, but it works.

The light is just the right size, I ordered two of these for over my new kitchen island. I received them both quick and one of the glass shades was a bit scratched. I reached out to the Trade Winds Lighting and they quickly sent a new shade! I was really impressed with the costumer service!

We like the look of the light. After opening the package, we noticed scratches in the glass pendant. I contacted the Amazon Marketplace seller, Lights Online, letting them know about the scratches. They replied within 30 minutes (on a Saturday) saying their offices were closed but were going to send replacement glass from the manufacturer to ship Monday. I received the replacement in 2 days (awesome), however, this pendant had scratches and glass bubbles in it. I reached out again requesting someone visibly inspects the glass before sending it out. They replied again, inside the hour, saying they'll have someone visually inspect the unit and ship ASAP. Product quality control isn't quite there, but the customer service has been top notch so far. Hoping 3rd time is the charm for the glass. Assuming it is, definitely 5 stars.
