Made from 100% polyester, this double-faced satin ribbon is machine washable, is color-fast, and has less than 2% shrinkage. As a bit of background, there are three basic types of textile weaves: satin (single faced or double faced), taffeta, and twill. And to produce these fabrics or ribbons, there are also four basic types of yarn used, namely polyester, nylon, cotton or acetate. Our double face satin ribbon is made from polyester yarn and the satin weave and so is known as 'polyester satin'. Please Note: Dye lot differences are especially apparent between 100 yard spools and everything else (i.e. 1/8" 100 yard Silver may not match with 5/8" 50 yard Silver).

Great quality
I ordered this ribbon on May 20 and received it on May 23. Incredibly fast shipping.The quality is fantastic. The ribbon is double sided, meaning it looks like satin on both sides.I ordered the 1 1/2 inch, 50 yard rolls.Pictures included, one with the flash off, one with the flash on.Colors of ribbon: charcoal, azalea, orange, turquoise.I thought the turquoise would have been a little lighter and brighter, so maybe the Island Blue will be more what I'm looking for.

Overall tremendous value
Once again a product purchased at Amazon has been delivered to me as shown in size and appearance.. I was remarkably pleased when I felt the weight and quality of the product, however... I did not expect such quality for ribbon that the seller knows the purchaser is not actually handling in the store.... Above and beyond expectations once again Amazon.

Ribbon Bazaar Double Faced Satin 1-1/2 inch Gray 50 yards 100% Polyester RibbonIt is a lovely double sided light grey ribbon that I am using as trim for the roman shades I am making.It would be helpful if it had more body. However, it is a very good product at an excellent price.

It was sturdy ribbon for the job
This ribbon worked pefectly as a belt for my daughters wedding dress. I sewed a jeweled encrusted pieceforthefront onto this ribbon. Then left enough length to tie in a bow behind. It was sturdy ribbon for the job. Looed beautiful.

I got the pink delight color and everything but the color was as described
I got the brick red color and everything but the color was as described. The color isn't a vibrant red as shown in the picture and what I got was a muted brick red color instead. Won't buy again.

Excellent Quality Ribbon
Excellent quality ribbon. I was a little hesitant, as I had not heard of this brand ribbon, but it was very nice quality double-face ribbon, and I would order again.
