Design House 511584 Millbridge Traditional 1-Light Indoor Dimmable Wall Sconce with Alabaster Glass for Bathroom Hallway Foyer, Satin Nickel Finish

I bought this for my wife's walk-in closet. The overhead light didn't get enough light to the back of the closet, so I parallel wired this light with the overhead and mounted it at the back wall of the closet, down the wall a bit so that it was close to where she wanted the light. I liked that the sconce is very similar in appearance to the existing overhead light, so that they look like companion fixtures. It works great, mounts easily, and was relatively inexpensive. I was a little bummed when I found that it uses a candelabra bulb instead of a standard bulb, but it still puts out plenty of light and accomplishes its purpose.

These are amazing for the price I live in a apartment I hated the light fixture .so I changed it and looks so much better ,very pretty . And the price was awesome

for Design House 517383 Millbridge 3 Light Vanity Light, Satin Nickel. I bought just in time to beat a big price jump from $74.83 to $91.49 ! Yay! Anyway, I consider this a reasonably priced light, it looks nice and installed without too much trouble. I was a little concerned about how bright and "chromy", the satin nickel finish would look, but its not too bright and "cheap" looking. I replaced an old 4 light fixture so I thought that a 3 light fixture would not be too bright. Maybe you can tell from the picture with the lights on it is too bright with 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs for a small 1/2 bath, I will replace these with 40 watt, maybe even 25 watt equivalent LED's. I thought I'd be a good neighbor and provide the installation instructions for those who might like them with a couple tips based upon this experience.1) The screws for mounting the BACK PLATE to the MOUNTING STRAP are too long, the spherical nuts bottom out. Fortunately, the screws provided for screwing the MOUNTING STRAP to the JUNCTION BOX were a little shorter and worked so I swapped them.2) Screwing the MOUNTING STRAP to the JUNCTION BOX was sufficient for me, it is held securely, I didn't need to mount the MOUNTING STRAP to the wall. 2.1) You would be advised to find some small washers as use them on the screw heads since the mounting slots are too big compared to the screw head (for my comfort) and provide a stronger mount.3) Be VERY CAREFUL to not drop the round/spherical decorative nuts!!! I've installed several new light fixtures lately and they all had this sort of nut. By the grace of God I didn't drop and lose any of them! It would be SOOO easy to do that! You'd think the mfg. would anticipate that and add at least one extra decorative nut in the hardware pack...4) I haven't had a SOCKET/SHADE assy like this before so I had to actually look at the instruction sheet 😉 to see that I needed to unscrew the SOCKET RING first BEFORE putting the GLASS SHADE over the SOCKET. Not a big deal but thought I'd mention it. Also, don't try to put a light bulb in before putting the SHADE on 😉. With one hand hold the GLASS SHADE over the socket, the with the other hand screw the SOCKET RING on and snug it finger tight.I'm glad I bought this light. There were only 6 ratings on it (4 1/2 stars) so I was thinking a few employees were delegated to give good ratings, but it worked out 😊

I purchased two of these and Im very happy with them. They were easy to install, and they look fantastic. They were a little different than I had expected by looking at the picture: for one I was surprised by their size... they were smaller than I had imagined. So be sure to read the measurements before ordering. Also, the glass is a bright alabaster white with a wavy pattern that doesn't really show in the picture. I agree with the other reviewers that they should be packaged better; in my case the two that I ordered both arrived undamaged, but I can see how the fragile glass could have easily broken due to the inadequate padding.

Very nice light fixture to update the old..Came fast and packed well.

Needed to be rebuilt upon opening. Mounting screws weren't secured to backing plate. Wire nuts poorly secured splice joint. Multiple places where protective sleeving was pulled off. Once I rebuilt the thing, it looked nice but the metal was so thin it lacked any rigidity. Certainly a low cost item. Expect to take twice the time of installing so you can rebuild it first.

I bought two. I put them in the bathroom on either side of the mirror. They look nice. They were easy to install by a person with some knowledge of electricity. I have a real old house and the person had no difficulty in putting up the fixtures. I replaced old fixtures, one of which was not working. With the new fixtures I can use regular light bulbs. My old fixtures lasted about 30 years and required a special light bulb. With the new fixtures I can use regular light bulbs, and hoping the new ones will last as long as my old ones.

I bought two of these lights (One bulb and 2-bulb) They suited my bathroom perfectly, and have all the safety and usage specs for that room. I like the "oil rubbed bronze" finish. IMO they are just as nice as fixtures costing twice as much.

I used this product for a bath light fixture. Unfortunately, One of the globes fell and shattered and your manufacturer will not respond to my request for a replacement .

Great light, nothing missing,nothing bent.
