Sterno All- Weather Instant Flame Gel Fire Starter

This works far better than any other fire starting gel I have tried. It stays where you put it without running or dripping and burns for a good amount of time. Fantastic to use for lighting a cold woodstove with a down draft. You cannot find any better, especially at that price!

This is the best product out there! I pride myself in building my own fire, but the older I get- the easier I want my life to be. I started using this product, it works on wet wood and no kindling. BEST FIRE STARTER EVER!

Great stuff to help with starting fires. Only takes a small size of gel with no fumes of smell. Very easy to use. Great value for the money.

I was curious about fire starting aids. so I decided to give this a try, but alas I was disappointed. its flammable but just not very effective when ive tried it on wood or charcoal. cheap, yes but I still would advise trying something else.

We bought this in Walmart in Georgia a couple of years ago and found that it works great in our fire genie. But we could not find in any stores in Tennessee or Mississippi where we live . So glad I found on Amazon.

We bought this product because our pellet grill suggested having this on hand should the pellets go out, but after 6 months, we have never needed this product. We presume it works as advertised, but suggest you not buy it unless you know you will need it.

Took this camping last weekend specifically because we were going somewhere windy so I wanted the gel to stick to the wood and kindling and burn those spots without the wind drying out standard lighter fluid. Its crap. "Maybe" if there's a flame already going that can burn this for a good 10 seconds, it will catch flame, but its no different from lighting cardboard. The flame stays small, takes too long to catch, and just all around is useless. I ended up just pouring the whole bottle out and putting kindling around it and lit it to get rid of it. Make your own fire starters(egg cartons with lint/woodshavings/shredded paper, etc.) or just bring regular lighter fluid
