Helly-Hansen Men's Workwear Berg Insulated Winter Jacket

This has been a great winter barn work coat! Well-made and waterproof. I've washed it in laundry soap (not detergent) and hung it up to dry to make sure it stays waterproof. Still looks good, too. No rips, all hardware intact, including zipper pulls.

I purchased this jacket as I have enjoyed the other Helly Hansen jackets I've purchased. I wanted something that was waterproof AND insulated as well. This fit the bill perfectly. It IS warm and is waterproof. Like all HH products it appears well made and uses high quality materials. It fits perfectly and allows for very good arm movement without feeling tight or constrained. I was a bit dubious about the fit as other HH products can sometimes run a bit smallish. This one fit perfectly. You can adjust the cuffs and the "waist" band to keep cold air out. The hood stores nicely in the jacket collar.

My husband loves it. Nice weight to it. He worked outside in Alaska and the warmth was nice enough but didn't make him feel heavy or sweaty. Fit as expected. He normally wears a 2x-3x and we ordered a 3x so he could layer up if he wanted. It fits perfectly, has room for layers, but fits nicely without the layers. Particularly like that it hits around the hips in the front but dips lower in the back to keep the elements from going down your pants when you bend over. For some reason I was thinking it had a regular hood, but it looks like it has one folded into the collar. I ordered it without him looking at it but I guess he prefers the hood inside the collar.Overall a perfect coat for his needs, which I am glad because it was not Prime, so it would've been a hassle to return. I would buy this coat again in a heartbeat.

Jacket fits pretty nice and snug, room for a hoodie underneath. Arm length is a little long but the wrists can be tightened with velcro.It’s not particularly well insulated, good for 40F at the lowest IMO. Was 34F this morning and I’m wearing long Johns, long sleeve shirt, hoodie, and the new jacket and I was cold. I think the waterproof shell is too breathable, but it seems like a strong material which I need, as a mechanic.The hood is removable or can be stuffed into the collar.My 6’4” 140lb buddy fits in it pretty well too

I bought this as an early Christmas present for my son. He prefers coats that have a lot of pockets and not flashy. This coat was perfect and he like the fit when he stretches, it not binding. Overall good price for a great quality winter coat. One last thing. It can be worn casually but it’s “plain” enough to be worn if you needed to dress less casual too.

Heavy duty jacket, does take a bit of time to break in but will definitely hold up well and is one of my favorite work jackets.

I do not know what happened but this was not Helle Hansen quality! It’s like someone shipped construction to China! I’m going to have to closely scrutinize what I order in the future!

Overall it's a decent jacket. I would not consider this a heavy winter jacket without layering however. Husband returned this because although the description says "reflective" elements, no where does it say in this listing or any other website there is a Huge Reflective stripe across the back shoulders. Now I imagine if you need this as a safety feature at work it's great, however he had intended to wear this as a normal winter coat and that reflective stripe looks rediculous unless you are a police officer, fireman, airport ramp worker etc. Sad this feature was a deal breaker, nice jacket otherwise. I took a couple stars off because when I read insulated jacket I expect this to really be a warm coat, at least as insulated and warm as my own Helly Hansen. We live in Wisconsin and this isn't "insulated" like I would expect, period.
