Butter Flavor in a can--good on other foods too
I'm an 11-yr Lifetime Member of WW (formerly known as WeightWatchers), have lost 45- 50 lbs and kept it off. I decided to try this when one of our WW workshop coaches recommended this product. I love it! And I use it on more than just popcorn. I also use it to add an intense butter flavor to pan-grilled onions, pasta, rice, and veggies, etc. I use it instead of, or in addition to my must-refrigerate butter spray and my other go-to, Molly McButter flavor sprinkles to add a buttery taste to assorted foods. The dry sprinkles don't stick well to dry foods and the refrigerated butter spray is temperamental and tends to overspray while "missing" the target. While there is a canola oil base in the Winona Butter product, I've not tried to use it instead of one of my other 100% (NO Lecithin ever!) cooking olive oil or avocado oil sprays. Instead, I use the Winona Theater Style Butter spray to add butter flavor the final product, with great results according to not just myself but others eating those foods.I found one of the earlier comments about too much oil and not much taste interesting. My experience with real butter is that it can leave a really greasy mess behind when melted and used on popcorn. Plus one has to really pour it on to get that butter taste -- and a fairly healthy snack becomes very unhealthy. And horrors, real butter can go rancid. I've encountered that on occasion.Yes, when sprayed on popcorn, some of the Winona product does not stick to the popcorn kernels and it ends up on the bottom of the container. Blame the popcorn for having too many holes... It's not the product's fault. Clean-up of any residual Winona left in a container is fairly easy with the right product-- I use Dawn Powerwash which takes care of most of my "greasy" messes with ease.I'm ordering my third set of this product because it is now one of my go-to cooking tools for keeping the fat calories down, staying within my WW points and enjoying tastes that could easily send a lot of folks into heart attack zones as a side effect. As to the person concerned about the number of calories in the can-- if you spray the entire can onto your popcorn at once, yes, you are looking at adding over 1000 calories to your popcorn. However, most folks don't do that. The can instructions tell you one spray equals 2 calories, so if you spray your popcorn about 10 times, assuming you don't hold the nozzle down for a long time, then you are adding maybe 20 -30 calories. Whereas you melt down 2 Tbsps of butter and pour that over your popcorn, you are adding 200 calories. I suspect many folks opt for even more butter than that.I do recommend this product. I'd love to see a non-theater butter style more conducive to flavoring other foods, but, for now, I will happily use the theater-style.

Great taste, no dishes
It has a great buttery salt flavor and perfect for small batches of popcorn. As a spray, it keep me from dirtying more dishes and from butting too much butter on when a few shots mixed in will do the job.

Butter is better
Yikes! When trying to spray popcorn the width/circumference of the spray far exceeded what was needed. However it did create a very shiny, slippery spot on the floor. The strength of the aerosol blast blew some of the popcorn out of the bowl which the cat and dog appreciated.Truthfully the flavor didn’t hit any high notes. Mediocre at best but that being said it does add at least a meager remembrance of ‘what was’ before calorie consciousness and other fat issues beset us. :)A little bit of butter (real butter) is better. I think that will be my mantra from now on. 😊

Nice product, but bad packaging for mailing.
I had ordered this previously and was happy with the product, so I reordered it. Today 3 cans came in an envelope, not a box. The red plastic tops and transparent plastic tops were broken off of all three.

2 calories, not zero, flavor is geeat
Ok so first off, my bottles came with a 2 on the calorie count, not zero as advertised in the photos. Not a big deal, but the photos need to be accurate. 2 calories per spray is no big deal. Secondly, I could see how some people may think the flavor is bland. If you want it like the movies, you have to lightly salt. Movie theater butter has a saltiness to it. When I use unsalted butter at home for my air popped popcorn, the flavor is very light, until it's salted. That's how salt works, it makes sweet things taste sweeter (flaky salt on chocolate chip cookies) and it brings out the butter flavor of this spray. Some people don't like to salt their popcorn, and I think it will be fine on its own for people who don't salt. When I used melted salted butter at home, I don't add any salt because it's perfect the way it is. This spray tastes like unsalted clarified butter, which is a light flavor. If you want the buttery flavor to come out more, bust out a little salt! Just purchased a popcorn cart and this will be a permanent accessory!

Tastes like unsalted butter
This product tastes just as I thought it would, like a light unsalted butter. The air compression is very strong and it does have a wide spray range. Be careful, if you hold it too close to your popcorn or the popcorn will go flying out of your bowl. If you add a little salt it will enhance the flavor. This is a perfect option for a dairy free butter substitute. My son loved it! We will continue to purchase for our home movie nights :)
