This One Is A Keeper
I had a night guard made by my dentist. It was for the 6 upper front teeth only. Boy did that thing do a number to my jaw. My NEW dentist told me that it was because my teeth were not able to come together at night it caused my jaw to go out of alignment and I've had bite issues ever since :/ After paying hundreds of dollars for that fiasco, and using up my "one every five years" dental coverage, I purchased the full mouth DenTek (this one https://www.amazon.com/Dentek-Professional-Maximum-Protection-Dental/dp/B008YEMVSI/ref=sr_1_15_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1483981143&sr=8-15&keywords=night+guards). It was ok. I didn't really care for it much. While I was able to put my teeth together, my mouth never really closed shut all the way because it was so big. Because my mouth didn't close all the way I ended up with very dry, yucky mouth by morning. It was so bad I was actually sleeping without the guard. I think it even encouraged my grinding because it was so big and just...THERE and gave me something to grind and grind and clench and clench. It started to come apart (the grinding "plate" and the molded teeth part) less than 7 months later.Looking for an alternative I found this little guard. OMG I LOVE this guard!!!! I push this thing to the smallest available position, pop it on the bottom, and I'm off to snoring land. My mouth closes, I hardly know it's in there at all. As others have said it does rub the right side of my lower gum just a tad but I just adjust the plate to sit a little bit towards the front of my mouth on that side. Yep I was also worried about swallowing this thing...that won't ever happen. The box contains TWO guards too. So maybe it won't last as long as the other (been wearing it about a month now) but I'm ok with that! There are two lol. I love this one so much I'm thinking about ordering 4-5 more boxes just in case they ever discontinue this guard...that is my luck!Updated review: I came back to order another two and I read some other reviews. I want to thank the person who said they use the Plackers Grind No More disposable guards. I ordered those. I thought these guards were awesome but the Plackers are WAY better. There is zero rubbing. I put the Plackers guards on top which I love so much better than the bottom (like these). Plackers are also a little smaller. I know they say the Plackers are disposable but I've been wearing 1 for over a week. I just rinse my mouth, with the guard in it, in the morning with Listerine, then I rinse and dry the guard. So far working great. So after trying a professional guard, a mold myself guard, the dentek guards and now the Plackers guards...Plackers, Plackers, Plackers

Perfect for teeth grinders. Durable and comfortable.
The media could not be loaded. This is my second purchase of these. I've gone through a few already. They last me about 7 months or longer. I have TMJ. I lock my jaw at night. I've gotten hairline fractures in several of my teeth because of the intense pressure of my locked jaw at night. These mouth guards are great! Slightly uncomfortable at first. It depends on your gums. I've included a video to explain. I love them. I continue to purchase them. No need to boil them to get them to fit. I also got the Efferdent package this time. Helps to keep it clean and fresh for the next use. I'm very happy with this item! I'll continue to purchase them and I've even recommended them to my dental office for other patients. It's so much cheaper than having a mold made of your teeth for a bite guard from them that may not last that long. The pressure of your bite is going to determine how often you go through this item. This is my 3rd one in almost 3 years. Great item for the price. 👍

Works great after cutting a bit with scissors
I have a wide jaw and I was worried this wouldn't fit. It does fit and there is a lot of adjustability. The instructions are good and it's every easy to use. Just rinse it in warm water and adjust to your size. It feels pretty good, but it does trigger a gag reflex for me. The way it rubs against the sides of my tongue makes me gag and I have to take a break. So, I will work on it and try to get comfortable. I think I need to press my tongue against the roof of my mouth and keep my tongue away from the pads.Update: I kept gagging, so I tried cutting down the sides of the pads. Now it works really well! I slept great last night while wearing this. It's not 100% comfortable, but I'm happy enough and it's protecting my teeth from grinding.

Caused gum pain, and Amazon wont let me return even though it says it's eligible
I thought this would be perfect for me to sleep in as I have a small mouth and didnt want a bulky night guard to uncomfortably sleep in. This guard seemed very slim and easy to use and it was. I fiddled around with positioning for a bit, trying a new "size" to more fine tune the fit and it was pretty good! Fit well, didnt fall out, was at first comfortable to wear. But after a few days I started to get rather sore gums, and even inside of my cheeks. Turns out the edges of the cushions that sit on your molars are not very rounded edges. They sit directly on my gum line at the bottom of my teeth and rub against it to the point that it's too painful to wear. It also seemed to be slightly cutting against the inside of my cheek to. It would be one thing if I felt this pain the first night as I could attribute it to needing to wear the item more to build up the comfortability, but it took a week of nightly wear before it started to get painful. I should clearly have been used to it by then.I cannot wear this anymore due to the pain it causes, and to top it off I cant return it Amazon gives me the option to start a return, but it will not let me complete it. It only offers a trouble shooting guide for the item and I cannot get past that part. This was a waste of money and I will have to throw the product away. Wouldnt suck as much if it was cheaper, but at $33 that's a lot to not be able to get anything back on.
