Silva basics and more
First off: This isn't a separate course called "The Silva Method Mastery Course", it's the Basic Lecture Series with a few tweaks plus Kain Samiya's Silva Method Self-Healing Course. Both are great courses, but if you're looking for the Silva Method Of Mind Mastery by Tag Powell, or Ken Coscia's Silva Mastery Seminar, you're going to have to look elsewhere. Now that that's out of the way, what do I think of it? Well, you can never have too many Silva Method exercises and information. The package is well produced, the exercises are wonderful and the PDF workbook is just fine. If you're new to Silva, or if you don't have any other versions of these courses, it's a great way to get two courses in one and save some money. If you've ever wanted to learn the Silva Method, this is a great way to dive in. No course on CD or in a book duplicates the experience of learning Silva in a class with an instructor to answer your questions and a peer group to share with, but these CDs will give you all the tools you need to incorporate the Silva Method into your life. Using these recordings is a much easier and quicker way to learn the techniques than working just from a book. The people who give the lectures and exercises in this course (Laura Silva Quesada, Kain Samiya and Robert Stone) are all top-flight Silva Method instructors. One of the great things about this course is that with 3 instructors, you get 3 different perspectives on how to use the Silva techniques in your life.

If you love yourself you'll take this seriously.
Dislike having to relax, don't know what that is. That's the hardest thing to learn for me,says the workaholic.

Try their free sample lessons before wasting your money
There are free sample lessons in various places online. I highly recommend that anyone thinking about paying the outrageous price on this bunk try it first. It's the silliest, most annoying stuff I've ever listened to in my life. I managed to tolerate most of one of the sessions by telling myself repeatedly that I wasn't giving it a fair chance if I turned it off early. It went like this... first an annoying clicking noise that sets your teeth on edge. I thought the CD was defective, before realizing they put it on there on purpose. This obnoxious sound continues through the entire session. Then a woman's voice told me to say the word three in my mind three times. I'd barely got to saying it once, when she announced that I was now in level three, and that any time I said the word three in my mind three times, my body would be "just as relaxed as it is now." Great. Tense and annoyed by the obnoxious clicking. Why would I WANT to return to that state? She then repeated the process with the number 2 and told me to imagine passive, tranquil scenes, but before I could decide whether to imagine a beach or a river, She was moving on to the number one, and telling me I was now in some kind of mystical alpha level. Sure. Right. Alpha level. Whatever. Mostly I was now being driven to murderous fury by the repetitive clicking, and finding her voice increasingly annoying, but the voice continued, now counting backward from ten at an infuriatingly slow pace, while chattering on about how I was going deeper with each number. Well... something in the room was getting piled deeper, but it wasn't me! When it hit six I couldn't help myself. "For God's sake, will you shut UP with the counting!!?" The recording, of course, was oblivious and continued the maddeningly slow countdown. At least one of us was having a good time. Eventually the counting stopped and I was told to imagine looking at things in a mirror. Lovely for people who are able to visualize. I'm not one of them, so I continued to listen, still wide awake, bored and annoyed, while she described the mirrors and told me to merge into the mirror image with all my senses. At that point I was thinking, "Could this GET any more ridiculous?" and reached for the headphones, but reminded myself that I had to give it a full try, so I stuck with it. Eventually the voice told me I was going to be slowly brought back. Brought back from what exactly? The only thing that had changed was that before listening I had been relaxed and ready for bed, and now I was tense and annoyed from the constant repetitive clicking and the woman's interminable chatter.Try it if you have a better imagination than I do, and if you can abide the noise and chatter -- but don't spend $137 dollars on it-- there must be cheaper ways to be annoyed.

I do not know if this was some form of self-loathing and self-sabotage or if this person is out to give this program a bad review. I own the Silva Ultramind ESP program ...
The person reviewing it that gave it one-star actually described all the reasons he or she needs to work this course. Anyone that on edge and stressed out would find it hard to do any form of guided meditation or progressive relaxation program as well. I mean really how short of an attention span does one have to have to not be able to sit through a roughly 27-minute relaxation exercise as an adult. I do not know if this was some form of self-loathing and self-sabotage or if this person is out to give this program a bad review.I own the Silva Ultramind ESP program and have used it for 10-15 years. I came here looking to get my oldest son who is away with the military a copy for himself. He/She needs to make it through the entire program before they get that critical about something they clearly do not understand. It would be not unlike someone going to the gym to work out once and calling it a waste of time and then dumping all over the process of working out because they went to the gym once. Might as well read the first 10 pages of a 1000 page book and decide it is trash and go around the internet telling everyone the book is trash when you have not even read the entire book. The biggest problem with this sort, of course, is that if you take it and work it as designed you might eliminate a lot of excuses in your life and you might actually need to make changes for the better and act on what you have learned. So anyone afraid of change which according to a lot of experts is the thing people fear more than death is change. After that is fear of failure. Most people hate to take too deep a look at themselves or into their themselves because they might not like what they see or realize. This course is about change and as it is designed it is almost painless but if you are afraid to take the first step this program and what it represents would scare the you know what out of a person that hates themselves, hates the world and wants to cling to excuses and old ways of thinking that they are accustomed too. I would not take advice about a book or a course from someone that has not completed it and put into practice what it is proposing. It sounds like this Silva program is similar to the one I already own.
