Oh my God, I love it.
Oh my God amazing for the price. For those of you who don’t understand the pricing for this kind of item. Usually these things cost about $200 to assemble and aren’t usually together. The armor itself is very simple and into the point, and what I mean by that is, there’s not a lot of embellishments it’s a bit sharp on the edges, but you only really feel that sharpness if you’re not wearing cloth underneath. And it really works well for actual protection. My boyfriend hit my shoulder a couple of times and kicked the back of the gorget part, and it it really disburse the blows, and I didn’t feel it as much. So this would be perfect for a lightest touch larp system. It does come covered in oil and you really should keep up maintenance for it that way. Because it’ll rust otherwise. But it’s great. I love it. I was so expecting a $70 upper chest set to be absolute garbage but this is super functional. Also, as a general reminder, make sure the shoulder pieces are on top of the chest piece part and it’ll be so much more comfortable!

Made very well, and sturdy! Excellent craftsmanship. Excellent price!
This awesome set: Gorget (front and rear collar halves); and Pauldrons set (for two separate shoulders, right and left, interchangeable) is well made and sturdy; the metal gauge is sturdy, and the entire effect of all armor together at once is handsome and authentic in design. All (actual bovine animal leather) straps, firmly fastened to its place; sturdy 'antiqued' brass metal buckles that are both functional and attractive. I am very satisfied with this transaction! Yet I am more than satisfied with this armor. It is better than I had anticipated, actually, at the price I paid. I collect medieval arms and armor (modern reproductions, I should specify. I'm no billionaire) with that taken into consideration, I've seen both well-crafted armor and not so well crafted. This armor is good! Well worth the cost! --- *From a couple of the comments I read before I bought this (these) item(s), where I realized that the buyer just may not have been aware: that armor should be too big for you to comfortably wear without an aketon aka gambeson which is a padded soft under-armor "jacket" designed as "soft armor" to absorb blows received through plate armor and chainmail. Further over the aketon, the knight wore a shirt of mail; usually a long or 3/4 sleeve shirt. Plan accordingly.

Good armor for the price
I’m just now getting around to posting a review. But the armor came exactly like the picture and on time when It shipped. Did a photoshoot yesterday with it “last pic”. The armor didn’t come with instructions so putting it together I was A little puzzled cause it’s still kinda Big even on me plus her and on how to place the shoulders on correctly! Which as of today since I just Used it I know how to do it right. It’s comfortable and weight is light. Gives it a nice shine material. Yes bend the armor to your body!! It makes a difference and extra holes in the strap helps. Does rust a little bit but we used a snow machine so the armor got a little wet but it’s nothing to worry about since it’s only use for Photoshoot and don’t plan on using it for many “wet” concepts.I’ll buy again for sure!

Good fit for the price
I'm 6' 3" around 220lbs and I'd say it fits pretty good. The edges of the shoulders are a bit sharp but not bad if you have clothing on. The paint on the inside was flaking of but nothing the changes how this looks or function's. And as for the oil people talked about 1 that's required so the metal doesn't rust 2 it wipes off easy with some paper towels. Great purchase id highly recommend.

Arrived with a defect, still ok.
My armor arrived basically unusable in its current state but it won't be a particularly difficult fix if you're even a little crafty. Just thought folks should know. The gorget part of the armor is pretty small. It slots in with two pegs on one half of the gorget and two matching eyelets on the other half that slot into each other and allow you to wear the item. The eyelets and pegs on mine do not even come close to matching up, therefore the front half and back half of the gorget cannot snap together.Due to it being pretty small anyway, I would have needed to replace both and add an adjustable leather strap instead, so its not a huge problem for me personally. If you're of bigger stature than, say, a particularly rotund child, the gorget is gonna be really snug on you.To make matters worse, its also pretty damn sharp. But its supposed to be worn over a gambeson or some other kind of padding anyway so to me, it is excusable. Just make sure to wear something tough underneath it.The segmented arm pieces are pretty good, if a bit thin. Makes an excellent clicky-clacky sound when you move in it and looks just like the pictures. I'm 6'4" and round, and the strap fitsMovement while wearing it is slightly restricted, but I'm a pretty big dude so who knows.Definitely also need to note the thick film of grease on the whole thing, undoubtedly to keep it safe in shipping. It kinda did get everywhere though. Can still feel it on my fingers while typing this. All in all, its cheap armor bought on Amazon. You pay for what you get. But its not a scam, at least. Good for a light touch LARPer who needs an accent piece or for a stage production. Do not expect this to hold up to any actual combat, simulated or not.

For the price its great.
The spaulders are excellent and well worth the money. The gorget is small and needs some work to fit right but can be made usable very easily. I bought this for the spaulders and not the gorget as such I am very happy with this set, it does everything I need it to.
