Switched to this brand after my local store ran out of our usual kibble. We have a Frenchie who has a delicate stomach and a lot of allergies and he has tolerated this kibble really well and will finish his meal without hesitation. It's a bit pricey but he has been doing so well on it I plan on sticking with it from now on. I'm pretty particular with what ingredients he injests and this food has all the natural and grain free things I wanted.

First of all, I would love it if this brand added raw bits to the dog food (like they do for the cat food). I would love it even more if they made it 100% meat (or better yet raw meat) with a little bit of bone in the mix. But this is the next best thing since it’s the highest meat content I could find in a dry dog food and my dogs will choose it over their old kibble.My 55 lb female dog was able to eat this food right away with no issues; however, my 80 lb male dog (who has always had tummy issues) needed to go slow. I’m talking a-tablespoon-the-first-week kind of slow. The second week was 2 tablespoons, etc. So it’ll be a while until he’s up to speed, but he’s getting there. Some dogs just take longer than others to adjust.Funny side story, when I began feeding my dogs this food my cat decided to start stealing it. She’s never done anything like this before so I bought the cat version and she’s thrilled, but occasionally still tries to steal the dog’s food. I got her the cat food that has the raw pieces, but I wish they made a version that was 100% raw meat with a bit of bone in it.

This is one of the best dog food that you get your dog. My dog enjoys eating it and has never turned away from it. I also like the fact that it’s healthy for him and he has not gained any extra pounds from it. Their price for it is reasonable and you don’t have to add extra ingredients to it to tempt your dog.

My dog has a sensitive stomach and open farm has been the only food that sits well with his stomach, especially the salmon flavor. The smell is a bit stronger than other kibble brands but it’s not too bad.

Love the product, though my dogs have gained a bit of weight on it. It's pretty expensive, and that's the only negative I see.

This is a high quality dog food. Both my small dogs like it and they are very healthy. Some dog foods cause red/brown stains on the white fur around their eyes but this does not. I switched to this brand a few years ago when a previous brand I liked was discontinued. The transition was very easy for my dogs. I specifically looked for a high quality dog food that is not grain-free and I am very pleased with this ancient grains formula.

Previously used Purina, but my dog did NOT react well to it. I researched more natural brands and more sustainable brands and landed on this one. My dog is so much healthier now and I feel much better about supporting this brand!

This dog food is fantastic. I make our own topper to go over this and my pups just lap it right up. It’s the best price I’ve found it even with a coupon from a pet store. The ingredients are amazing. It’s baked at a lower setting to ensure nutrient quality remains high.
