Works GREAT
I've been averaging about high 11% to mid 12% ABV in my wines. Changing nothing else except adding this yeast food, my current batch measured 17+% before backsweetening. Huge improvement, and I definitely recommend adding this for wine making. I haven't tried it for mead or beer, but I assume it would be equally effective. I added it in three installments over 2 days, not all at once.

It seems to work for my mead
I'll be honest the first time putting it in nothing seemed to happen. The next day I shock my mead and boom there was to much activity. I looked on line and read the dosage to feed and Holly smokes is fizzed up like crazy. My mead is super healthy and active now.
