GuRu Audible Audiobook – Unabridged

I love RuPaul and when I saw this book was released, I had to get it. What a lovely engaging and insightful journey into the mindset of this great person. As a Creative Entrepreneur and Holistic Insightful Coach, this book resonated on a very high level with me and would encourage everyone to read this. Even if you just see the pictures, those also speak to you on a level you cannot describe. More please!

I only really grasped the intention and worth of this book upon reading it a second time. It is more than advice. It is invaluable life lessons and guidance but only if you are ready to hear it. I clearly wasn't the first time around. This is a book to go back to time and again. Dip into. Highlight points, ideas, quotes and questions that resonate with you. Use it as a tool to change your mind set.

Great book for times when your feeling down or burnt out. Just have a flip through and envoke the spirit Mother Ru to life me up.

Ru totally inspires me like nobody else. He has a big heart and is wise, worldly and intelligent. Even if you’re not into drag (but hun we ALL are - all born naked and the rest is drag) it does exactly what it says on the tin... GuRu! It’s a pick up and flick through read, not a biography. Easy to pick up on a bad day and get some inspiration to lift you out of the depths.

Bought this after reading a RuPaul interview in a magazine. Wasn't sure if it would be for me but it's surprisingly motivational. Would make a lovely gift for anyone who could do with a confidence boost.

This is perfect for any fan of Rupaul, it's full of humour, wisdom and great quotes. Beautiful pictures of the famous drag queen many I have never seen before, took me 1 night to read, I laughed at the humour.

I adore RuPaul and as I watch Dragrace, I think "Wow, i think I want to read a book written by Mama Ru" so I bought this. Yes, the messages in each page (its a book of mainly images and nuggets of quotes and philosophy) are uplifting. Yet I feel Ru is holding back. What we really want to see is this book merged with his autobiography. I want to go deeper with Ru and find out how Ru used these philosophies throughout his life so far.The book didn't warrant me keeping it. Sorry Ru but I just saw the tip of your iceberg.

A good read, lots of inspiration to be had from it, I loved all of the artwork, RuPaul as always looks fabulous, I wish that I had the confidence to do that. Maybe with mamma Ru in mind I will find that. We all need to love ourselves, as mamma says "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell ya gonna live somebody else" Amen, Ru.
