Quality Product for the Price
This turner has a solid feel for the cost. It has worked perfectly with our cast iron skillet and numerous runs through or dishwasher. No issues. I would buy it again.

Great design, but not heavy-duty
I purchased this because it was the exact design I wanted. It does a great job with little effort making mashed potatoes with a little texture left. I have also used it for squash and some berries for and it has done a good job. It's easy to manage and easy to clean. The things you should consider, though are 1) it is short - a good choice for a small family or small gathering but not suitable for use in taller stock pots. 2) it is light weight which could be an advantage for older people, but I wouldn't plan on it lasting long for large families and heavy-duty use primarily because the handle feels like a simple plastic. I've used it for six weeks with no fault, but we are a family of two. If I were doing meals weekly for 25 (we did that for ten years), I'd get something sturdier with a longer handle.

Great for cooks
This is a nice slotted spoon/skimmer. The spoon portion of it is a good size for when you need to scoop something out of a pot. I've been trying to replace my nylon cooking utensils with stainless steel utensils because I've noticed that while the nylon utensils are much less expensive they don't hold up so well. I've seen little bits of nylon starting to fray from the edges, and I don't want these tiny bits to fall into the food.
