Headphones great.
The Avantree HT5009 headphones are easy to setup with the blu-tooth transmitter . You can go to different rooms in my house with no signal loss. Outside noise is muffled some. I had trouble with the first set , left headphone cut in and out. I contacted Amazon and they replaced with a replacement of Avantree HT5009. This headset works good. Battery life was about a week and a half, using about 3 hours a day.

You can connect these to virtually any TV with at least one audio ouput.
I received my headphones with Bluetooth transmitter and had them connected (with digital output from LG TV) in 2 minutes!! No kidding. The TV's vintage is from 2013. The LG offered only 1 audio output, that being digital. The Avantree facilitates RCA, Mini, and Digital outputs so there was absolutely no issues in hooking it up. Pairing was virtually instantaneous, much to my delight...all of 2 seconds to connect! Comfortable and no compression feeling when wearing them.I put on a Blu-Ray disc of AMADEUS. I could hear some scratching in the background. Lo and behold, it was the sound of people walking on the floor (in the movie of course)!! Bass was a bit flat but not much and the clarity in the high and mid-range is outstanding. This is more important at my elderly age than heavy bass anyway.I am very pleased with my purchase and I will be keeping them. I have mentioned this item to a few of my friends who are now considering as well.

This now my 3rd type of tv headphones, and they are great, super light and the receiver draws power directly from the tvs usb so no need for an extra power point to plug it in. Happy with that.
