I appreciate the low setting it’s quiet and the air flow is subtle as other reviews mention. So for my purpose that’s great. In high setting I do find it loud. It’s the perfect size. Vornado generally makes quality fans.

I tend to run warm and always need fans nearby, and this one is perfect for a desk. It looks great, operates quietly, and pushes an impressive amount of air for its small blade size. However, it’s designed for personal use, so you’ll need to keep it fairly close to feel the airflow. I keep mine about 18 inches away on my desk, and it works perfectly in that setup. The design prevents it from blowing document on my desk.Keep in mind that this fan won’t cool a room, other people —it’s really a "personal" fan. If you’re looking for something to use next to a stationary bike or to cool multiple people, this isn’t the right choice. But for desk use in a small area where the fan is no more than two feet away, it’s excellent.There are two speed settings. The low setting is almost silent but doesn’t produce much airflow unless you’re extremely close (12 inches or closer). The high setting is much more effective for desk use. Bonus points for the stylish retro green color—I love it!

This little fan provides the perfect amount of air for someone who wants that little bit of breeze on them while they are in bed. I love the design. I don’t like air control mechanism, it’s on the base of the fan and it’s kind of hard to get to quickly. The higher air speed function is a little loud, but I find the lower air function is perfect for me and it is super quiet. The design is adorable. It’s so small and convenient. I absolutely love it.

Small compact quiet and sturdy.. great personal fan especially for females with hot flashes sits right up on my headboard so when the flashes start it cools my head off.. well worth the money

Pros: Compact, quiet, cute. I use it for drying spray painted partsCons: Air coming out is not very focused and is too spread out. On high speed you have to put your hand in front just to see if it's runningThe cord. It has a VERY plastic-y feel to it. I hate stiff plastic cords.

I really like this fan as it’s quite powerful for its size. I have it on my dresser so I get the breeze blowing when sleeping as I get hot and cold during the night. So I sleep between a fleece blanket, a comforter and another thicker fleece blanket on top. I do have hashimotos/low thyroid, so I think that’s why I get cold. But then I sometimes get hot, so I kick off a blanket or too and let this vornado do its work to cool me down! It’s super quiet too. We have several bigger vornado fans in our kids bedrooms for white noise and better circulation, and they also work well. But I would find the breeze of those fans too strong, so this is the perfect fan for me!It’s also great to travel with if you have a battery with an outlet plug (which we do for camping) so I can even take this with me on hot days to the beach, which is better than any battery operated or wireless fan we have.

I have a Vornado V8, which I really love. So, when I found the need for a more compact, smaller fan, this V6 model seemed like a no-brainer. I also liked the fact that this model was offered in all kinds of nifty colors. So I ordered it in the Blue Bliss, which turned out to be a perfect mach for my bedspread.I was a little surprised at just how small this model was, I expected it to be a little larger. I love the design of these Flippi fans, they are very sleek, attractive and I like the fact that they can be swiveled vertically. I loved the size, I loved the color and I loved how quiet it was on "low." Unfortunately, that's where the love ended. On low I found that the air flow was almost imperceptible. If I was more than a couple feet away, I felt nothing. I had purchased it to keep on a nightstand to blow across the bed. When I tried it on "high", I was surprised at how noisy it was, with a loud rushing sound and noisy rattling. There was no way we could sleep with this running, so it's going back. I'm hoping ours was just defective, but based on the large amount of used ones being offered in each color at a discount by Amazon Warehouse, I'm suspecting that it may be a design flaw in these V6 models. My much larger V8 moves a lot of air and does not rattle like this one.All in all, although I loved the design and features of this model fan, the functionality for our purpose was severely lacking. I would highly recommend checking out the larger V8 model if you are looking for effective air flow. If you want something very quiet. and will have it sitting on a desk blowing right into your face, then this one on set on "low" may be for you. Also, perhaps others won't have the same noisy rattle on "high" that ours did.I rely heavily on customer reviews when I go to purchase an item, and I know others do, as well.
