Amazing product and worth trying!
My hot tub began to leak in October 2024 after a routine draining, cleaning, and refilling. It was losing several inches every few days and the temps were dropping below 40 at night. I ordered the Fix-A-Leak and waited until the nightly temps would not be dropping below 40 degrees. I followed the instructions and honestly didn't think it would work since my hot tub had been sitting empty and unused all winter but it WORKED!! I was so upset that I couldn't use my hot tub for months but was so very happy that I didn't have to replace it. This product is DEFINITELY worth trying before replacing your hot tub due to a leak.

The Real Deal!
I followed directions to the T and...@#%*! THIS STUFF WORKS!!As a repair tech I'm well familiar with "stop leak" products used in many industries. Some work better than others and exact circumstances can make all hit or miss. I was actually pretty skeptical about the ability of a working solution (punintended) to fix my good ol' 4-person hot tub, the victim of a winter power failure that caused freezing in the water lines. That would be a fatal condition for most tubs, but NOT the hard-won "portable" tub that I vowed I would never try moving again in my lifetime. Not that there's all that much of that remaining, but all the more motivation to bring my beloved "Think Tub" back to life. So, after rebuilding the heater (too old and costly to replace) and replacing the pump, it was with INDESCRIBABLE sadness I discovered the tub was leaking water from points unknown at rate that would make it more suited as a planter. My indefatigable nature--exacerbated by $200 repairs already expended--led me to Fix-a-Leak. Reviews were surprisingly positive, but even if it wasn't snake oil I didn't have much confidence it would work for my potentially sieve-like tub. After some reflection I decided I could spring for another $22 before crying "uncle!" May well have turned out to be the best $22 I've ever spent! It took me 3 months to garner enough courage and emotional fortitude (oh, and time) to carry out the steps required to check the stuff out. Had I opened the bottle immediately I may have been encouraged enough to try sooner, when the weather was more conducive to the company's online "warm weather" instructions. No matter, they provide instructions for freezing weather as well and those are the ones I followed. Admittedly between those instructions and the actual liquid characteristics I was encouraged. It made sense. The solution is viscous enough, and obviously contains particulates, probably rubberized, that, when well-suspended in the tub water, could coagulate at the leak points and, eventually, HOPEFULLY build up to the point of flow stoppage. In my case, THOSE LITTLE BUGGERS DID JUST THAT!After a single treatment using the 1/3 bottle recommended for a hot tub, the leakage appeared to be completely stopped. The manufacturer mentions that without the drying-out period that is infeasible during cold weather I may need to re-apply come Spring. No worries. There are still 2 applications left in my bottle. Maybe I'll be motivated to update this review down the line. For now I have no compunction about giving this product my unreserved recommendation for pools and hot tubs. I'm a believer!

Works, the product is very good
• Yes, it works.• Notes For Jacuzzi:• Remove the filter.• Fill the jacuzzi up and cover all inlets and outlets.• Turn the jacuzzi on.• Turn off the water jets so there are no air bubbles going out. Ensure that all jacuzzi holes are pushing water out so the cement gets inside everywhere.• Pour a full 8 oz glass of the product little by little into the suction where the filter goes, allowing the water to suction it into the system.• Get some of the product inside something that you can take down to the floor suction inlet and make sure the product gets inside there as well.• Wait 8 hours, then disconnect the jacuzzi from the power.• Leave the water on for two days.• Repeat if the leak does not stop completely, meaning 100%.• Make sure water is circulating everywhere.

it works
I do not understand how it works but it does. I have noticed that it seems to lose effectiveness and I need to periodically re-apply.

Major leak stopped within 24hrs…this stuff works!
The leak in my hot tub was 3/4 draining it in 3-4 hours. Within a few hours of applying fix-a-leak it began to slow down. Within 12 hours it was roughly half the leak it was the day before. By the end of 24 hours, I was losing ZERO water. I was skeptical but this stuff really works. I was amazed and thrilled at the results.

Very Pleased with Fix A Leak
Our pool had a horrible leak/leaks. Our leak detection guy spent a couple of hours inspecting, epoxy-ing, etc ...They recommended we spend about 1500 bucks or more on repairs. After hearing that "good news" I just happened to look on Amazon for a leak detection dye kit when I ran across Fix A Leak. I figured I had nothing to lose. I watched a YouTube video of an average Joe explaining how he used it. Personally, after heating the bottle in a sink of hot water for 30 minutes, I poured it directly into the running skimmer, let it circulate for about 30 minutes, then turned on the main drain along with the Hayward vacuum running slightly as the sealer is heavier than water & tends to sink to the bottom. After about 3 hours I turned off the vacuum and let the main drain run all night. The next morning I turned the vacuum back on & the main drain off. The next day I ran the skimmer only. The pics I've attached show where the morning water level was when I started using Fix A Leak , then 48 hours later. Keep in mind prior to this I was losing about 2 inches of water a day. Thanks Fix A Leak!

sadly i think my hot tub was 2 far gone for this to work
followed what some people have already stated in reviews on this product and tried 1/2 the bottle first filters out ran the jets overnight then shut the tub off for 2 days then turned it back on and the leak slowed down best guess about 80%. repeated the process with the remainder of the bottle and the leak stopped. i was excited i called in the company that had been working on the hot tub to do a drain clean and refill to get the residue out and unfortunately the leak returned. its a bad one right in the center where you cant even get to so sadly this product did not work for me but if you have had success please provide as much detail as to what you did and how you did it hope my review helps

Boy howdy did it save me a boatload of effort. Leak fixed. Happy customer. Well worth the price would recommend before you attempt to DIY fix your hottub
