makes coffee 190 degree in the pot
i check the temperature and 190 in the pot so brews about 200 this is what i care about.all metal, stainless steel, super easy to clean.it has a one button and makes hot coffee fast thats all that matters to me and no plastic.no bells, no whistles, no timers. water, coffee, and hit the on button. no instructions needed.it is 19.5 inch in Hight so will not fit under many kitchen cabinets, i didnt care have space for it some of you may not. the thermos is GREAT. coffee stays hot for 1-2 hours and warm say 4 hours. no hot plate, i donot want a heater it just burns the coffee imo. so all metal, hot strong coffee, one button, a great metal thermos, just what i want.i used mine every day for 2 month so far, light weight compared to REAL commercial pot, will it brew 5-10 pots a day for years?? i dunno i use mine for home use because i hate plastic. try it i imagine if you want simple hot strong coffee 90% of you will be happy.

Very good brewer!
I’m very picky in the quality of my coffee. I find that most brewers are off on one thing or another. This one is very good. The temperature of water is good, the water fall spread is good to saturate the beans and the speed of brew isn’t too fast but fast enough. This is the best I’ve found at this price point and size.

Commercial Grade!
Looks and functions great. Does sit a little higher than standard, but no complaints. I was looking for a replacement at my vacation rental and couldn't find anything that wasn't primarily made of cheap flimsy plastic. This filled the order.

Poor quality
The overall aesthetics is eye pleasing but it stops at that, very cheaply built, filter basket holds extra water so when you pull it out after a brew it spills water everywhere, the decanter is made of stainless steel with a plastic handle and 1/3 turn plastic lid that leaks when pouring coffee or a hot beverage. The decanter with the lid screwed on will not fit back in the brew position on the brew base. This review is only after my first coffee brew and I would not recommend this item in for and setting commercial or home use. I am very disappointed in this unit and is not worth the cost. I give it a negative -5 stars

Spec'ed dimentions are wrong.
Never got a chance to use my new Sybo. I have to return it. It won't fit under my cupboards. Dimensions at Amazon AND in the manual state the coffee maker is "16.5" inches in height. It is NOT. The height of the machine is 18.5 inches. It won't fit on my counter. If it has truly been 16.5 inches then it would have fit. It's a shame. It looks like a good machine. Sorry to say Sybo has lost a sale because one of their marketing people was too lazy to verify specs before they published the advertising copy. Sybo lost two stars for the failure of their internet marketer.

So Much To Like and A Few Things Not To Like
This SYBO Commercial 12 cup coffee maker is expensive, no doubt about that. We've been going through the plastic coffee makers with all the bells and whistles that cost around $60 to $90 once a year or a bit more. We never use the clock, the timer, or other features they have, we just want to brew coffee in the morning and drink it. And a few have had parts melt from the warming elements. So when I started looking for a new one to replace our Cuisinart coffee maker I found this one. Stainless steel, no clock, no timer, no warming plate, just a brew light and a on/off switch. And a water fill at the top that was easy to fill. The price was steep and it was only a 12 cup rather than the 14 cup like we always buy, but I decided to try it anyway.Besides the price being a bit steep it is also BIG and not something that will fit on a normal to small kitchen counter or one with lots of hanging cabinets over the counter. We have one spot that we have always put our coffee maker, which you can tell because the steam over the years has bleached the dark window trim white. But a regular coffee maker fit there ok. This thing is very deep and came out from the splash guard and window sill over 3/4 of the counter depth. But it is thinner than a normal coffee maker, so I turned it side ways and it fit and takes up less counter space in front of it. I had to turn it to the left though so the on/off switch was in front. The brew light is to the left and we have to9 bend our heads around to see if it's done, but we have been finding we don't really use that so much. If it's still dripping out, it's not done. If it stops dripping, it's done and we turn off the power switch. We love how simple it is, how easy it is to clean and fill up. Although I've not timed it, it does seem to be faster than any of the regular coffee makers we've had in the past, although this may be because it's only a 12 cup and not a 14 cup. With the regular ones we could pull the pot out before it was finished and pour your cup and the filter holder would stop the flow. This does not stop the flow if you move the pot, so not as convenient in that aspect. I'm more patient than my wife, so not as big of a deal for me. Also, these take the larger round filters. The smaller ones that you get at CostCo or the grocery store do not work very well. They aren't high enough in the filter holder. So I ordered a bunch from Amazon. Good thing it comes with enough to last a few weeks. What we do not like about it... is the pot itself. First off, with the lid on it doesn't really slide back on the platform without scrapping the filter holder. If there was even another 1/4" or maybe even 1/8" more space, it would go there just fine and be out of the way after brewing. We have to sit it on the edge so it is off the counter top. The really big issue we have with the pot is how it pours. You can not pour fast when you are filling the reservoir and the cap is off or it over flows the pour spout and runs back down the pot onto the counter. You have to pour slowly until it's about half empty. With the lid on it also pours real slow into your cup. We use big mugs and this is annoying when you are use to pouring it out a lot faster. What causes both problems is the pour spout is enclosed so it is a tube rather than an open channel. I'm not sure why it's this way but it ruins what would other wise be well worth the money spent on it.I have looked for a replacement pot but the ones that are short enough to fit in the 8.5" high space are only 10 cups and not 12 cup pots. The ones that are 2.2L in size are too tall to fit under there. That would leave us with brewing with the original and pouring into another airpot or thermos of some kind. Meaning we would have an extra pot taking up room on the counter. This may not be an issue for most people, but it's an annoyance for us, especially when pouring. If the company reads these reviews, I hope they consider redesigning the pot mouth to be able to pour a lot faster with less mess. We'll see if it lasts longer than the cheaper coffee makers (it should with no bells and whistles and warming plate) and if it does, it will be well worth the cost. I'm still going to keep looking for a new pot though.
