Beautiful ceiling fan. Had it professionally installed so I can’t comment on the installation ease or difficulty. Perfectly balanced, quiet, nice air flow.

I ordered this for my outdoor patio about 3 yrs ago, but decided to wait before writing this review. I wanted to be sure to get a fan that could withstand the weather conditions which can be extreme in northern Wisconsin, both summer and winter since my patio is open. I don't have an extension rod on this fan, just the standard 6-8" dropdown. The ceiling on the patio is about 10-12' high. This fan can move some "major" air!! It creates a breeze in August that can keep four of us cooled with no problem. I did not install a remote control but opted for a pull cord which works perfectly. The balance is very good and does not "wobble" in the least. It is very quiet which is important. It has stood up well in all conditions for the last several years. Highly recommend it!!

Really gorgeous.

This fan lives up to its reputatioin. We had to replace a forty-year old remotely controlled fan. This classic is essentially the same design as several others in our home. By removing the top mounting ball from the old shaft, and using it at the top of the new Hunter shaft, it all went together easily without having to remove and/or replace the original fitting in the ceiling. Perfect for our need. Many Hunter parts, including in particular the drop shaft and its fittings, have become standardized across the industry.

Looks attractive but a little on the traditional side. No flush mount option. Installed three of these outside on a covered patio. There are two options for color of the blades - plain black looks good. Quiet and smooth operation. I’m taking off 1 star because they don’t move as much air as I had hoped on full speed. It’s decent but if you are looking for a strong breeze this isn’t it.

The media could not be loaded. Performa well. Puts off a nice breeze. Has multiple speeds and looks clean and classic.

Nice fan and good value I guess vs other fans on Amazon. Real issue is lots of parts and labor for me to assemble and install. Simple and no real need to read directions, but hey hunter could you folks at least put the 10 rubber grommets in the fan blades? Wow, you can just go ahead and ship all of the fan in parts form as it could not be much more work to assemble then what I got already…. Plan on significant time to supplement hunter factor labor assembling the fan….
