I wasn’t holding out much hope for these at all mainly due to the cheap price. To cut a long story short, there’s a problem with the sewage drain pipes under the concrete on my driveway. To get the driveway lifted is a lot of expense and having had to give up work, money is in short supply. Every 6ths I have a rolling contract with a drains expert who charges me £110. each time. He couldn’t clear the blockage, water board was called and stated it wasn’t their problem. I bought these rods, within 20mins of delivery everything was running smoothly again. I recommend watching tube videos before undertaking the job yourself. But I’m thrilled I can manage this and wouldn’t hesitate in making sure everything is cleared by myself in future.

Very good for the price, gets the job done for a lot less than any plumber call out cost (as long as you can put up with the smell...). Only gave it 4 stars though, as it was about 50cm shorter than what I needed to clear a section of pipe through my garden. I've just bought another, so I can extend it further.

Good but one rod is stuck in the pipe as it just fits together and comes apart easily(not screwed together)

I don’t usually bother with reviews but these are great. I had a blocked outside drain in a really awkward place. Whenever the dishwasher was on or we emptied the sink it flooded the alleyway.Using the plunger attachment on this I unlocked the drain in about 5 mins. We’ve had to call someone out in the past and it cost £100, therefore, these have already paid for themselves!Make sure you only twist the rods in a clockwise direction when in the drain to reduce risk of the attachments falling off
