Great bumper for the price
For the price range, I don't think you can beat this bumper. Not as thick as I'd like but basically a match of the factory one. Easy to assemble and install. As others said, use the factory bracket to frame bolts, not the ones in the kit. Hint: put your license plate on before mounting the bumper to the truck. That way you can put washers and nuts on the back side. The plate screws are only in soft plastic and strip easily.

Use the original bolts when attaching to the A-frame
All hardware was included. I would recommend reusing the 4 original bolts that hold the bumper to the frame. The bolts supplied are shorter and thinner than the originals. I didn't use the light harness, as the original worked fine, but used the lights provided with the kit. The bumper comes right off after you remove the four bolts holding it on to the A-frame. Use it as a template when putting the new one together and you can't go wrong. Bumper has a powder-coat semi gloss finish - very nice for the price. I highly recommend the bumper.

Avoid this bumper
Cheap junk. Practically every clip holding the plastic top on were broken. The lights do not match up with the stock registration light conectors. The harness that is provided does not plug into the Ford harness. The registration light housing clips were broken and held in with hot glue. The hardware and brackets are half the size of the OE parts. It's a real piece of junk and I would never buy another one.

Different license plate light housing
Bump looks great and fitted my ‘04 ranger, however it came with a different set of license plate lights & connector. The picture didn’t match what came, I had received chrome license plate housing lights. I had to cut my old wires and rewire the new ones bc the housing for the bulbs was different. The lights housing were glued on so I didnt want to take it off with the fear of not finding a replacement. I think 4 stars is correct for that inconvenience. Other than that it fits great and looks great!

Great fit
Fits perfectly on my 04 Ranger I had it painted white to match the truck. Great buy. Used my stock hardware and brackets, it was more beefy. Some adjustments required to be level
