Lightweight Folding Electric Wheelchair
This is light enough and compact enough when collapsed to fit most car trunks or small SUVs. The battery is easy to remove for charging indoors while leaving the wheelchair folded in the car. My wife easily controls the speed and steering. It is easy to maneuver in store aisles. It is actually very sturdy to my surprise. It is easy to expand and collapse with a locking lever just under the front of the seat. The foot rest tilts up and simple wheel lock levers make egress easy and safe. This was the ideal present for my wife. We aren't spring chickens and she was easily operating it safely almost immediately. In my mind, this is probably the most reasonably priced option for someone who needs short term mobility help for shopping in large stores.

Waste of money
This chair is a piece of crap. It didn’t last a yr before completely broken. From day 1 it won’t lock. Needed a bungee cord to keep shut. Closes on me all the time when I’m in it! Encounter the slightest bump and the front wheels go back folding the chair and pushing me out to the ground. I couldn’t count how many times this happened. Company was terrible to deal with. Told me to find a box & mail it back (at my cost) Hello I’m in a wheelchair! How am I supposed to do that?! She told me I could check the super market for a box or ask a neighbor!?!?The final call, I threaten to have a lawyer call when I get hurt. They sent me a you tube video on how to fix myself (tighten a screw) Seriously! Thats all? after all those calls? That didn’t work anyway. Neither the seller nor Amazon would help. The screws come out all the time, the ams has fallen off twice, the chair still moves after you let go of the joystick, NO WAY it’s 30lbs., the seat is sagging (I am 120lbs), the wheels hit your feet if they are on the foot rest, the arms don’t lift or fit under a table, and now the front wheel came off and can’t be fixed since the inside is stripped and won’t hold the screw. Absolutely furious I spent $1000 on this piece of crap and very disappointed in Amazon for not helping more to resolve the issues

I can go shopping again.
My last unit was too difficult to maneuver. Before long, it just sat in the corner and gathered dust because trying to get anywhere with it made me cry with frustration.Pros: I can’t speak about ease of transporting as my sister-in-law does the lifting, but it is about 10 pounds lighter than my last unit.-Unlike my last electric travel chair, this one has a joystick and is much easier to navigate aisles and hallways.Con: It’s not great in the house, however. The doorways and hallways are a little too narrow, and it doesn’t work very well on carpeted areas. I have a wheelchair With stronger capabilities that is easier for making tight turns that I use inside the house.I tried Amazon’s Contact Seller because the charger was lost in my recent move and I wanted another. The ChatBot keeps telling me it doesn’t understand my request. In the meantime, we are searching boxes.

Not what I expected
It's heavier than I thought it would be. I can't lift it, but I'll get my husband on a scale holding it to see what it actually weighs. I really think it's more than 30 lbs.It "moves" on it's own.I wasn't moving or touching anything, but then it was turning left (spinning) slowly, while I was sitting in it.It doesn't fit in the trunk of a Ford Fusion.I could try to grow to love it, keeping in mind, I need to be mindful of it moving on it's own.Unfortunately, when I can drive again, I don't know that I can lift it out of the back seat to get in it.It's not what I expected

Very Dissatisfied With This Company
I am very dissatisfied with this company and this wheelchair that I ordered for my special needs daughter. The chair is not well put together. The screws have fallen out of the chair several times within the past several month; thereby rendering it useless for my daughter. I contacted Rubicon several times to send replacement screws and each time they shipped incorrect screws. What company does not know it’s own product and the type of screws that are needed to keep it operational? In my final attempt on last week, I reached out to ask them to send me the correct screws. The company sent me a tracking number and stated that the screws will be sent. After 2 weeks, I sent a text to company to ask where were the screws they promised and I received a text that informed me the screws could be found at Home Depot. Why wasn’t this told to me on the first time that I contacted them? I am frustrated and completely disgusted about this whole matter. I would not recommend that anyone do business with Rubicon. This product is unreliable and not well made at all.
