Can you put wheels on it?

I suppose you could replace the “feet” that are supplied with wheels. They are screwed into the base. Since I have the base tucked under my furniture, I would not have enough clearance under the furniture to use that as an option.

Looks to me to be veneer, certainly not vinyl.
