The Giantmicrobes series is a wonderful collection of soft toys that reproduce bacteria, microbes, viruses, microscopic creatures... magnified a million times. Keyring version to always carry with you, even as a pendant on your backpack, bag... Each soft toy is accompanied by an image of the microbe it represents and an informative leaflet: Perfect for those with a sense of humor Created by the brilliant mind of Drew Oliver who designed them as an educational and scientific object. Many of these toys are on display at MoMa. The aim of their creation is mainly related to education and humor. A nice and humorous way to ward off diseases, make us immune to them, prevent them from happening again or simply send a message. The most famous is Neuron or Brain Cell, the ideal gift to reward someone who has achieved the desired goal (promotion, graduation, a good grade) or for... those who need it. Each doll measures approximately 5-8 cm in length and its appearance is based on that of real microbes seen through an electron microscope, which gives the idea of being a million times enlarged version of this organism. To make them funny for the public, the company has taken some liberties with their design, making them very colorful and furry. In addition, other anthropomorphic elements have been added such as eyes or, in some cases, faces. Each plush has a microscopic photograph of the real microbe, with its scientific nomenclature and basic information about the symptoms that this microbe can cause. In addition to this keychain version, there is the classic original model and the even larger one. The Gift Box version containing 5 themed plush toys in a mini version, ideal for gifts, is also very successful.
