Whole Egg Powder - Free Range, Non-GMO, Gluten Free - Recyclable Container (500g)

I received this today and tried out immediately. I measured out exactly - 12g egg powder 37g water (1 egg equivalent) and dry fried as an omelette - absolutely fabulous, cooks and smells exactly like an egg. I bought it to make omelette wraps for my lunches/ buritto breakfasts so this will be ideal. Having had a bad experience with a real egg in the past (won't go into detail), I'd stopped eating eggs and can't stand the smell of the shell, so this product is ideal for me. I'm also looking forward to using it for baking. I have a question, however. Has anyone tried making up a small amount - say 4 egg equivalent - and keeping it in the fridge? Does it keep this way? I was thinking this might save weighing/ measuring as often.

Made scrambled eggs and they tasted okay, not a good as fresh but perfectly acceptable. Trying the eggs as doing a long sailing passage and want extra eggs, advantage is once open will last for 6 months once open so will be very useful for pancakes etc. Major disadvantage is the 500gm container would hold 1Kg, far to big a container. I dread to think how big the 1kg is😂 But overall I will buy again as will be very useful.

15 grams of powder with water, some milk, bacon cut small (after cooking), grated chilli cheese, some chives salt and pepper. sliced red onion (optional).Awsome Omelette! for breakfast.Might try to do scrambled on toast at weekend see how it goes.No complaints from me.

The trippling of eggs prices is crazy.So I thought I'd do a search on powder whole eggs. So I bought this brand to test. Open the bucket and the egg powder is in a sealed zip bag. Instructions are on the bucket. Smells like egg. Easy to measure out, easy to mix with water.My adult daughter was the first to try scrabbled egg using the powder egg. We were precise measuring powder and water. She wasn't to sure if she liked it. But still ate it.I then made an omelette with onion and red pepper. It fried well, no issues. Tastes like omelette. Tastes like egg.The only difference I found was the powder egg was more solid, thicker or dense compared to a fresh egg.So it's pretty darn good.

Great for Paffles (not Waffles), 1 egg, one scoop of this some grated cheese and a knob of butter in a waffle maker. Great replacement for high carb bread! Have with some eggs and bacon! This is only one of many ways to use this product.
