Always reluctant to leave reviews, because at the time of purchase or a few months after. A lot of kit has been great ... then stops working etc.Positives about this Smallrig light,Great, small, light compact light. Doesn't take up much room in your kit bag. Powerful light. , II have had quite a few lights from Amazon. Some are more expensive. They were clunky, cheaply made, and haven't lasted more than a year with minimal use. Those who are new to photography and videography. It is tempting to buy cheaper items but I can speak from 6+ years experience.Pay for quality. Save money in the long run!NEGATIVES:The charging cord is SHORT. I have had to buy a longer charging cord so I can plug it in and use it for a longer period whilst filming. Fully charged, It lasts about an hour tops. The last two times I used it cut out mid-interview leaving us with poor room lighting. (I have since purchased a longer charging cord since.)These are just little things to think about when purchasing.NO MOUNT INCLUDED:It doesn’t come with a mount’ and I didn’t want to use a ‘cheap’ mount with it.I bought the Smallrig camera monitor mount to use with it Smallrig. Light but Very well made. Easy to use/adapt on the fly. Smallrig is starting to be my 'Go to' company for all my videography accessory needs.

It's not the cheapest light I ever bought and when you see the size of it you wonder how good it will be as it's very small.However, this little light packs a serious kelvin punch. The light can go very bright, and there's lot of options for reducing the brightness. It's very easy to use with lots of different colour options and it has a feature preset where you can choose things like disco lights, police and ambulance, warm fire etc so you could create some very nice effects.I use mine as a back light in my videos and it works extremely well in either creating a glow around the subject or for adding depth to background objects. So it really is a versatile little light that's extremely portable.It can be used with and without the tripod. I find the tripod useful as it means I don't have to find something to prop the light up against if I'm looking for a particular light angle.Lastly the power it gives off is unreal and so is the battery. It lasts a long time and is very quick to charge.I'm so happy with this product that I created a video review of it in my Amazon storefront

Excellent little LED light. It has lots of flexible options, and the white light generated can be warm, cool or in between. It's true white LED light, not a colour mix, meaning it's ideal for photography and videography.The battery lasts a decent length of time, variable based on the brightness. And the threaded base allows easy attachment to tripods and other camera gear.Great item, recommended.

The light looks like a smart phone but is not terribly smart. Using the buttons on the side of the unit in various permutations operates the different modes and features. I only need it for lighting small objects for photography so most (in fact nearly all) of the functions are redundant to me. The white light can be made warmer and the strength can be reduced, on full power it is very bright.I don't need it to flash in different colours so may be I should have bought a lesser specified model but it is fun to play with but the novelty soon wears off. ( beware .... don't be looking at it face on when you switch it on ..... it's takes a while for your eyes to readjust after the shock) It get quite hot when it switched on so using it as a torch for any length of time isn't an option (I thought it might be handy for camping trips) It is good at what it does but if you don't need the bells and whistles then something cheaper will serve you better)

This is an amazing light. Very portable and very bright. I like the adjustment for brightness and colour temperature. I think the different modes such as the police lights are quite fun but very much a gimmick. If you need a portable RGB light with plenty of punch for its size you will not be disappointed. The mini tripod is very good value and better than I expected for the price difference.

The shipment arrived very quickly, the product was well packed. I am very pleased with the quality of light and workmanship. Very convenient menu, only the battery is weak but you can easily connect the device to the powerbank and continue to use it while charging. Great lightweight durable product.

Actually a really great product however the battery life is shockingly bad. Especially if using these to backlit areas you can’t have batteries next to. You’d need to add battery packs to make them useful. Better battery would be a top class item!

Very good light, loads of presets and customizable settings and 2-3 hour battery life
