Easy install works great I put a tiny bit of crazy glue around the back to keep it Tight Seal to the door I did the replacement for a friend he's happy with the results

Installed 2 weeks ago, light glitches out already.
Don’t buy. Probably won’t last, light already doesn’t light green after two weeks. Cheap quality.

Works but not OEM quality
Using this on 3'rd gen Explorer. Physically it's not an exact match but just swapped over the cover plate and buttons from original. Electrically it (should be) the same part. Unlike the OEM part the 3/4 & 7/8 buttons are dimly lit constantly, rather than lighting only when pressed. They still all glow when activated. A few LED's is not a significant drain but would still prefer stock functionality. Otherwise keypad works as intended.

My husband replaced his old one that stopped working. It was for his 2002 Ford Excursion. It took him less than 30 minutes from start to finish.

Doesnt secure well
This item needs a clip on both sides. I literally had to use Gorilla glue to secure one side
