Great First Bike – Sturdy, Stylish, and Easy to Ride!
The media could not be loaded. We bought the Retrospec Koda Plus 16” bike for our 5-year-old, and it has been a fantastic purchase! The build quality is excellent—solid and well-constructed without being too heavy for a young child. It came with clear instructions, and assembly was straightforward (took about 20–30 minutes). The adjustable seat and handlebars are a big plus, allowing the bike to grow with our child. The design is also super cute and modern—our daughter loves the color and proudly shows it off to her friends. The training wheels are sturdy and provide great balance, making her feel confident as she learns to ride. Most importantly, she loves riding it! It’s comfortable, easy to steer, and the brakes are simple for her small hands to use. Highly recommend this bike for any parent looking for a reliable, well-designed option for kids.

Perfect bike, broken basket, though
Adorable bike and easy to put together. Only complaint is that the bike basket was smashed. We had to throw it away.

Adorable bike with some issues…
The media could not be loaded. I received this bike early May, and gifted it to my daughter. It’s adorable and she loves it. I noticed the back wheel being warped (wobbly when spinning) and reached out to the manufacturer for a replacement. It’s been over 10 weeks with no replacement to date. In addition there’s been some issue with the training wheels coming loose, and when tightened it causes the back wheel to stick, almost like when you have a tire stuck in mud. Probably an issue with alignment,I’m not an expert. I still give this bike 4 stars, because it arrived quickly and perhaps we got a lemon, but the quality otherwise is nice. It works as a beginner bike if only a bit off balance.

Cute and timeless
Great bike and will be passed down to my two other girls. Very versatile. One piece got rusted because we left it out in the rain and my dad who knows a bit about bikes was able to fix it with a very afforadable replacement part and it's good as new. Now we are more mindful about putting bikes back in the garage at the end of the day.

Good kids bike
Great bike for our 4 year old. She started with this brand on a balance bike and we were so happy with that one that we upgraded her to this one. Never used the training wheels. We left the pedals off until she was used to the size and she treated it like her old balance bike. Couldn’t be happier, we put the pedals on and she was zipping around within 3 days like she had been riding it for a year. Great brand, good quality. Only wish it had a kick stand so she wasn’t laying it on the ground when she’s done riding.

HEAVY + NO kickstand, Awkward basket placement.
Purchased for my 5yr old daughter, her "big girl" bike. Love the color and qualoty of bikes parts.Issues:-No Kickstand. Almost 100% positive description listed a kickstand. Assembled it then realized it does not.Would have been a pass if I'd knew. Taking training wheels off makes taking off and stopping wobbley for her. She is 43 inches tall but cannot touch the ground at seats lowest height setting. While learning to ride without training wheels, falls were common, however the weight of bike (surprisingly) made picking up and continuing on an issue. It's legit heavy if needs carried.Tires are fine, a bit on thin side, not a ton of tread. Also, had fill with air once a week.Lastly, the basket. The accessory my daughter wouldn't stop bugging me about. I had to ziptie it on. The flimsy straps that came with it are a joke. The handbrake line runs over the basket area so makes it awkward. Placing the brake line behind basket, you risk getting the line tangled up or snapping.Things we liked: extremely sturdy. Very balanced and perfect for learning to ride without training wheels. Also, adding/removing the training wheels was a breeze.

Very nice bike and easy to put together. I like the style and expandable functions on the bike so it will last.
