Great smartwatch functionality, good performance
This replaced an aging Fitbit Versa for me. I did not want to pay $$$ for the top name brand watches, and besides, none of the big names have good battery life. I ran across this AmazFit and tried it out after seeing some reviews here and on other forums. It's been awesome for me. Great for all the essential smartwatch functionality - for me that's notifications, fitness tracking, and a few simple applications like the vibration alarm to wake up silently, timers for cooking rice or whatever, and easy weather display. The biggest plus for me is the battery life - it goes 5-6 days easily without charging, with normal use by me. That's great for not worrying about needing to charge the watch in the middle of the day or otherwise, especially when traveling when I need my watch to be available for at least 48 hours at a stretch without any problem.I don't use most of the more advanced fitness features so I'm not sure how well they work, but the app seems to do OK with basic tracking of steps, time, pulse rate, etc. Fitness achievements are measured in "PAI" a system that takes some getting used to if you're used to other systems like "active zone minutes", etc., in other brands. It has a decent selection of watchfaces, etc. not as extensive as in some other brands, but enough for me.Finally - aesthetics, it's not the greatest looking watch by the standards of top conventional brands, but it looks quite good, I think, and in fact the circular dial is a great deal more appealing to me than the rectangles more common elsewhere.

Great Watch!
Great Watch! I wear it often instead of my Apple Watch 10 and Garmin Venu 3. Both $450 watches. Only possible concern is that if not using the ‘Always On’ display, the raise to wake is a bit slow. But not an issue if you use the ‘Always On’ option. Can’t beat it for the price. Works well with the iPhone.

This watch is great!
Post 1-month review:Likes:Easy to use, extremely long battery life (15 days without charging and still had 25% battery power), lots of functions, stable system (after updates installed), super clear and bright display, simple app navigation, very customizable, and it appears to track my running, workouts, sleep, and blood oxygen levels extremely well. Very lightweight and thin watch. I hardly notice it on my wrist.Dislikes:Watch band seems cheap but it has held up well over the past month.

Outstanding battery life, does a great job ... except...
Edit: I started suspecting the watch was not accurately counting my pool laps. I finally verified and confirmed this by manual counting, and by comparing head-to-head with my older Garmin. I contacted amazon support and as soon as they realized it was a refurbished purchase my only option was to return it within the normal product return window. Disappointing on several fronts: now I have to decide whether to get a new Amazfit and hope it works better in the pool, or open up the search for an entirely new smartwatch. And... should I trust buying any refurbished device again if the manufacturer warranty is not in place?Original review: I use this as a daily wear watch - love the selection of available watch faces to suit the occasion. I use it to track cycling and swimming workouts, with the app syncing nicely to Strava. I'm not so sure about the sleep tracking accuracy: I've definitely lain awake and still (as in, trying to get back to sleep) and it seems to decide I was actually sleeping. But regardless, if it's consistent in its methodology then its fine for providing a comparative view of my sleeping. Hey, it says I sleep pretty well, so that's the win for me!! One minor thing, when in swimming workout I notice the app records my swimming stroke incorrectly as breaststroke or sometimes backstroke, when I almost exclusively swim freestyle. Minor detail and nothing to get hung up about but data "purists" may be bothered by it. All in all, a great replacement for my old and failing Garmin VivoActive2. Purchased mine as refurb unit and it arrived in mint condition. Battery life is just fantastic - It easily goes a week and more, having tracked daily workouts etc etc. - game changer!

It's average
The GTS 4 is an affordable option if you want something people will mistake for an Apple watch. But don't be fooled by the hype. It's a so-so wearable and the features I bought it for are lacking. The biggest disappointment to me is the stem. When I use the watch to record my workouts (which is the main reason for the purchase), I frequently stop the session early because my wrist bends and hits the stem. I've tried wearing the watch further up my arm but once I start sweating, it slides down.As far as battery life, it's exceptional. As long as I don't have any sort of continuous monitoring or Bluetooth enabled. You know, the features for which I assume people purchase wearables. I used Zepp's troubleshooting steps to measure battery life. With monitoring and BT enabled, the battery needs to be charged daily. Even the watch faces suck up a ton of battery. Speaking of watch faces, I'm also disappointed they charge for what I feel are basic faces. My Fitbit, Nothing or Polar devices all have a good selection of free watch faces; Zepp does not.
