I have three
Easy to put together , l use water to fill the base as you just tip it out into the garden. However you could fill them with sand if you wished , but the water was adequate for meThe price is so low l bought 3 rather than move them with the sun. No maintenance just wipe them over . I have white and they fit the two sizes of parasol poles which I have . There is an adapter which makes the hole smaller. I leave the bases in place outside and just take in the parasol. I will probably empty them in the winter and pack them away as they take up very little space.one part of my garden which is large is a little bit windy, the base in that area coped very well.I am buying another one to complement the different seating areas l have …so yes l would definitely recommend.

Stable base
Good solid base to keep umbrella steady. A bit large but well worth the money.

Poor value for money, flimsy - try a different brand to avoid disappointment.
Bought this pair for £17 and an extra one for £9.50Reviewing this against the one-off price - but description is equally valid for those bought as a pair,These work, they are easy to use, but the plastic they are made from is far too thin and I don't have any confidence that you could move them around once full since their shells are so frail. One of the 3 I bought is permanently dented from a very modest amount of pressure when removing the water bung.Honestly, these don't compare at all well against others I have used in the past - and frankly the £9.50 price tag is three times higher than they warrant. As a cheap, thin-walled plastic knock-off of quality designs these are worth £3, but at £9.50 they should be solid, robust and contain enough material to last, like other manufacturers make, and these aren't.Can't recommend these - look elsewhere

Very poor quality
The parasol base, once filled with water, became unstable and squashy. The plastic insert into which you push the pole to support the parasol did not fit snugly and could be pulled out of the base easily. In any sort of wind the parasol just bent over. The cover for the hole for filling also did not fit well. This piece of flimsy plastic has been returned for a refund (more of which later).

Won’t regret your purchase
It’s hard thick plastic, either fill with sand or water , I filled with water & does the job , price for what you get is amazing, would buy again

Base stand for parasol
I bought this to go with my recent purchase of Parasol. Good value. I filled mine with water but the cap cover is a bit flimsy.
