I used this to protect my 7” cedar deck railing from bird droppings under Overhead hanging bird feeders. The droppings were difficult to remove, and discolored the cedar stain on the railing, so I was looking for a 7” clear plastic strip that is easily washed clean by a garden hose, and yet allows the color of the cedar railing to be seen. This 7” clear plastic strip was perfect, and combined with a clear plastic self stick edging, allowed easy installation along about 20 LF of railing.

I am using this product on my DIY cat litter boxes. My cats tend to throw litter bits around, so this is my attempt at a solution. So far, I have only placed strips that cover half of the opening in order for them to get used to it. It does seem to have reduced some of the mess. As far as the product, it is the perfect material to use for creating a barrier. It is thick enough for the job and super flexible. It is also easy to cut. It would definitely serve the need it is advertised for.

couldn’t use it for what I needed it to be, when the weather gets cold, it gets really hard, and my tortoise won’t walk through it. I don’t think it’s a good product at all. It’s supposed to keep cold weather out, but it can’t do that when it gets hard.
