For a beginner's first mechanical keyboard and a relatively cheap one at that, it's pretty damn good when it comes to its quality and value. It's probably one of the best bang-for-the-buck mechanical keyboards anyone can buy right now. After watching several reviews of this keyboard and comparing this to the Portronics Hydra 10, I decided to go for this one considering the fact that it is from a budget reputable keyboard/mouse brand like Redragon. Shipping came on the exact day that Amazon mentioned although much earlier . Keyboard as well as the necessary accessories were well packaged with bubble wrap.PROS- Red switches provide nice feel and a relatively smooth experience- Hot swappable switches, providing possibilities of customising the keyboard for long term use (comes with Outemu Red switches)- Build qualiity feels relatively solid, feels lightweight and can easily be carried- Sound is pretty good for a stock board- Per-key backlit RGB is present and looks phenomenal, over 20 modes including a self-define mode- Good for typing and gaming on a budget,performance is going to be really good (obviously)- Looks premium and feels premium as well- Accessories including four red switches, red ESC key, red spacebar, keycap puller and switch puller at such a price point is a good thing- Dedicated software for customising the RGB, editing macros, exporting/importing profiles- 60% layout makes the keyboard compact, saves space and feels quite small- Compatible with phones, tablets, TVs, consoles or any other device with a USB-A or USB-C port, you can just straight up connect the keyboard to the phone with a USB-C to USB-C cable and just use it (as I wrote this review using this keyboard only)- Keycaps are quite stable, thus making them fine for normal useCONS- Keycap puller and switch puller should be used carefully, might damage the keycaps/switches as in this case, I have made a scratch on the ESC keycap- No dedicated arrow keys present, thus not making it viable for office work or any type of work involving arrow keys at all, although you can use the FN key to make the WASD keys act as arrow keys- Might get time to get used to the layout of the keyboard for any first timer, may have mishaps in typing for some timeOverall, for less than 2000 INR or $24, this is actually worth it and is a good option for a mechanical keyboard. Besides, buying this keyboard refurbished is not really going to be a bad compromise even though the keyboard is not in the box itself. The keyboard is wrapped properly in bubble wrap and there seems to be no defects with the keyboard at all.Lots of advantages over several keyboards of this price range such as the Hydra 10 etc. with hot swappability, sound, feel, accessories and such.OVERALL RATING - 9/10VERDICT - Great
