Ease of use
Great for seniors. I bought one for my 80 year old father because he kept hitting the source button on the remote. This solved that problem. Simple remote with very few buttons. Haven’t had one issue with it. Paired it with a Samsung model tv and works well.

Easy to see power button
Worked on an older Visio tv with no extra setup. I bought this because the staff at my mom’s memory care were leaving her tv on at night. Visitors would turn it on with the regular black remote but no one would turn it off if the visitor forgot before they left. There is no guess work about what button you have to press on this remote to turn the tv off. I used Velcro tape to attach it to the wall and it seemed to work because her tv is almost never left on anymore.

Great for seniors
This was a snap to program to my dad’s Vizio tv. Got tired of replacing lost remotes at his retirement home so used Gorilla tape and a lanyard to secure this one to his bedside table. Have to remind him not to click buttons too quickly as it needs a second to “think” when turning on. Seems to be doing the trick. There are no unneeded buttons such as “input”so he is able to toggle through his few favorite channels without accidentally hitting a wrong button. Saved a lot of frustration.

Doesn't work!
This company says how easy it is to program!GRRRR! I can only get it to turn on/off and sound up/down. When I reset it according to instructions I get the same problem only for the sound the up arrow turns the sound down and the down arrow turns the sound up! My TV is on the list of compatible TV's.

excellent for elderly, weak, and/or vision impaired TV watchers
WONDERFUL for elderly, weak people! I got this remote for my legally blind elderly mom with essential tremors. She likes to watch/listen to TV but there are only a few stations she watches. The TV has voice control, but she forgets how to ask for a channel and often ends up in the wrong place. Then along comes this wonderful remote. You do have to add your own 2 AAA batteries, but it takes normal batteries so whenever in the future they wear out, at least it takes easy to find normal batteries. I had to setup her TV's favorites in a menu, then with this she can switch between channels without getting lost in the myriad of many possible other TV channels she doesn't watch. It lights up very brightly, so that is great contrast. The buttons are also raised, large, and easy to press. This is a real game changer for elderly with weak hands. LOVE THIS!!!Setup has two different ways, either find it or learn modes. I just got her a 2024 fancy huge TV for her bedroom, but this was able to find it about 30 or so options in. I am so pleased this works as easy as expected!!

Does not work with Spectrum.
This remote does not work with Spectrum. Otherwise, I think it would have been a good remote. Returning for one that will work with Spectrum.

Handy minimal remote
Bought this primarily as a mute button for my stereo to silence advertisements (Pandora). I like that the buttons are able to be programmed using another remote to copy any given button's function from. I now have it set up as a volume and mute for two separate AVR's along with power toggle for the TV itself. It's white, so easily picked out from among any of the other remotes and also to easily see where the large button is for the function you want. It's not so sensitive that you risk accidently activating a button, yet still works with minimal effort. Has an attached wrist strap but don't use that since it's a bit tight and so a little difficult to put on and take off my wide hands. Not a concern in use though.

When you can't find the remote.
Bought this because my spouse has hearing aids, but putting them in is literally the last thing on her list of things to do (she has an actual list.) The mute button is convenient. I mute the TV, and then don't need to yell to be heard. Works right out of the package with our LG TV.(Attention video engineers) >> BECAUSE IT'S NOT BLACK, IT'S EASY TO FIND! << (Thank you for your attention)Having a second, easy to find remote is convenient when spouse is listening to the TV at elevated (no hearing aid) volume levels, or has fallen asleep. Makes a bad situtation tolerable. I have not used the sleep mode, so I can't review it.
