I wanted to give 4 stars initially because of a small detail (see the reason below ) but I have to be honest and admit that this is a really good product. I bought 2 of them, 1 for me and 1 for my wife.Pro- wonderful product with a beautiful design- a lot of space to work, I use mine with 1 laptop , 2 monitors, a small printer and still have space for other staff- small drawer where you can store your notebook, agenda etc.- very sturdy and easy to clean- good materials - sometimes I put my hot coffee mug on the table and nothing happens.Contra:- the only thing that I did not like and annoyed me where the instructions. I spent 3h building the first desk and that's because after the first 2-3 steps everything is reversed and when I arrived at the step to put everything together the pieces where not matching. I had to break everything down and start again. For the 1st desk the drawer is still not closing completely.The 2nd desk was easy after I learned the instructions and it took me 1h.Hopefully the Seller will se this review so they can modify the instructions properly.

The desk is beautiful. Just what I was looking for to make over my office. The desk is very sturdy, however, the instructions are awful. Some steps contain backwards instructions. Luckily the parts are just flipped—nothing egregious. Just annoying. If you take note of the photos, you can figure the mistakes out quickly. The step to install the drawer and drawer slides outright show the wrong pre drilled holes, too. A couple corrections could make this so much easier although it appears to be an ongoing issue based on other reviews. A few of my parts were scratched as well.

We are so happy with this desk! Tremendous value for the money. Looks beautiful and high end. Love that it has a small drawer (which many writing desks do not have). My husband has already been using it for a few weeks in his home office (almost daily) and finds it to be strong and sturdy. I was very concerned about the reviews regarding assembly so I reached out to the company before purchasing it and was told that they changed the instruction manual. Indeed, my husband found the instructions to be good and was able to put the desk together (with some help from our teenage son) in a couple of hours.

I have put together tons of desks/furniture/etc and this was the worst experience I have ever had putting one together. The instructions are awful and the little pieces they give you are low quality. Had to use a drill when even though there should be holes for you to screw in. Throw in some incorrectly labeled parts that i had to use the manual to infer the actual part needed.Also be warned if you want to return this they do not pay for the return label. Would’ve cost me more than the price of this desk to return it. Had it not been for this return cost I would’ve never kept this desk. Sure it looks nice but the overall quality mixed with the awful instructions you’re better off getting something else.

Super sturdy! I love this desk, it's a perfect fit in my home office. I can fit my laptop, two monitors, a keyboard and mouse, and a lot of plants behind it. This desk has a spacious drawer to store things as well! I have crochet hooks, pens, a planner, my tablet, and a pencil case in there. There is still more space in the drawer that I could fit another pencil case, or another notebook!

Let me start with this: its a nice desk. Heavy wood, solid legs... its not gonna fall apart any time soon. The finish is mostly nice - the fluted sections seem to be a wood-patterned tape of some sort instead of finish or veneer but that's not really noticeable once the desk is assembled.That being said, I have a few qualms. The biggest being that the desk top is in 2 pieces. You can't really tell that from any of the listing pictures. It's held together at the middle with large wooden pegs. Mine didn't exactly line up flush so there's a height difference of about 1 mm. Not a lot and not terribly noticeable with my computer, et al on the desk, but still... I understand that making the top in 2 pieces means a smaller box for shipping but I'd still rather it have been 1 solid piece. It also made assembly a bit more difficult.Speaking of assembly, make sure you tighten the cam locks (the round parts that lock the screw pegs into the adjoining piece of wood) as far as you can. That should be said for all flat-pack furniture, btw. Those locks are what really holds the pieces together. Also, one of my assembly instruction pages had wood panels numbered incorrectly but I was able to figure that out pretty quickly based on the illustration.All in all, its a really nice desk. A bit frustrating to assemble, but isn't that usually the case for flat-pack (lol).

Buy it!!!! It’s even prettier in person! The quality is great and it was easy for me to put together without the help from my husband. The small drawer is great and easy to open. It fits our MacBook and reading glasses perfectly. For the price of this product, it far exceeded my expectations. It’s worth every penny!

Putting this desk together almost caused my husband and I to divorce. The instructions are incorrect, but once it was figured out, the desk looked great and is sturdy. Good quality wood. Please make sure you have a strong relationship with your spouse before attempting assembly.
