Really spicy, exactly what I needed to make my chili oil spicy!!

I used these to make a an oil infusion.5 cups of neutral oil (used peanut oil)3 heads of garlic3 shallots52... Yes 52 dried reapersMince all solids and cook like a normal chili oil (search a recipe)Now this package advertised 25 dried peppers. There were probably triple that in this package.I caution you, Wear a mask when chopping these peppers. Wear one when you are cooking them.Wear one when you open the dishwasher with all the dishes used in the process mid cycle.I wore a mask while processing this chili oil, but not when I opened the dishwasher to throw something in after the cycle started.I effing maced myself. It vaporized the chili oil and maced me.At least my sinuses were clear.Anyway, I will buy these again when I run out. It made some awesome chili oil and crisp!

So much spicier than the home grown ones I've had in the past. I ground them into a powder with a coffee grinder and sprinkle a tiny bit on food.

My only complaint is the small writing on the back that tells you to rinse the dried peppers in warm water. That should be included in the description. Who rinses dried peppers?Well hopefully we don't die from the hotsauce I made.

Flavored my Chinese chili oil with these reapers. Used five whole chilies to season my oil with prickly ash. Great numbing feeling, but more of the Carolina reaper flowery scent came through than I wanted.

Your all going to think I'm crazy, but I'm crushing these up in a small blender and spreading them around my yard to keep the Javalina out. These creatures are very destructive and in Arizona there are a lot of them this year!! We have a specific herd of about 17 of them that destroy our neighborhood. Our yard is especially cool for them because I have a lot of plants and they come through and think I've layed out a buffet for them!!! Gardening is what I enjoy and these pesky pigs are disturbing my way of life. I thought I was at the top of my game when I purchase Coyote Urine to keep them out. That didn't even phase them. These are very hot! I used gloves and when I opened the blender after crushing them, somehow dust from them got in my eye and MAN did it hurt. My hope is that these pigs will get a whiff up their noses and remember to never come back to THIS buffet.
