Exceptional quality and creative set.
Cards on the table, I've been a fan of LEGO as long as I can remember and have had a popular LEGO fan site for over 20 years. I've dabbled with so called 'clones' in the past and they have always left a lot to be desired. This set was suggested to me by Amazon on Prime Day and piqued my interest. The set comes in a sturdy and attractive box and inside its all well packaged, numbered bags like modern LEGO sets, electrics and cloth parts seperated out and a big, thick. perfect bound instruction booklet. So far so good. Everything has the air of a premium product not some cheap knock off. Then to the bricks themselves and this is what blew me away. Brick quality is what has always let the clone brands down but other than the lack of branding, you'd not know these weren't LEGO. The clutch power is spot on, the casting all very high quality and uniform, they even have identical weight and sound to them. The figures are clearly different as minifigures are copyrighted, I left them in the box though as they weren't the important part. Instructions turned out to be similarly impressive. Very clear step by step with sometimes entire pages dedicated to just the correct routing of the lighting wires It took me a couple of nights to build the set and was very enjoyable. Lighting is one of the USPs of this brand and it was interesting to see how it was achieved, aftermarket lighting sets seem to be popular for LEGO and this set comes with it all intergrated. The wiring is fairly unobtrusive with some clever routing to get the wires in the right place. I think Id prefer a bit more ducting in places as the wires do travel outside the set once or twice. There is a lot of it. To my mind too much lighting but I guess its their USP so lean into it. Due to the sheer amount of lights and the fact its a largely white set you do get odd instances like the upper floor glows as the light shines through the white plate, could possibly have used some tiles to thicken the floor and prevent it. Maybe I'll add some. Light also bleeds out of the spaces in the roof as the intricate roof build which looks good without the lighting has plenty of gaps. Its a 'nice to have' though and doesn't detract from the set. The set design itself is pretty good with some interesting 'moves' I did find the roof a bit fiddly and fragile to get into place but sits well when its in. The back of the set is a bit plain with no detail. There were no printed parts but the set uses a transfer style sticker set which are excellent and work much better than the thick stickers LEGO use. Some sets choose to have an open back, some look good all round and hinge open, this one just has plain brick walls which hinge open. Seems a bit of a waste. The roof as previously mentioned wasn't the most robust or smooth thing to wrangle into place and the first floor was also a bit fragile until the plates on top were put into tie it together. All small points though which didn't detract.TLDR -A very well produced quality set which has the real feel of a premium product. The build was fun and I'll definately be looking to buy more of their sets in the future

Very impressed
This is my first funwhole model, I am very impressed with the quality. The bricks are smooth to connect not too stiff, they hold together well. The lighting is very well done, the hidden ductwork, lights in the bricks. This was a very enjoyable and satisfying build, will definitely be getting more fun whole sets, hope they produce more medieval themed sets for my village.

Falls apart easily
Alwful. I am an avid lego builder and although thi looks and feels like lego the pieces don't fit together as well. They don't seem to attach to each other strongly and the connects between sections tend to be a single dot. I have truedto do the roof for months and everything you get one bit on another falls off. Such a shame as lego don't do anything like this. I feel like throwing the whole lot in the bin or getting the super glue out. I wanted to buy the rest in the set but no . Really 😞 disappointed. Oh and there's a piece missing
