Thermobox Jal Col150 wall conduct with Thermobox, white/stainless steel. Wall conduct with telescopic tube including built-in Thermobox heat-retention system and stainless steel E-Jal Col external shutter. Conductor elements on the fins of the shutter ensure an optimum air flow. * Hose / pipe socket diameter: 150 mm. * Socket depth: 24 mm. * Installation depth: 350 - 500 mm. * Can be shortened to approx. 250 mm wall thickness. * Wall opening diameter: approx. 155 mm. The Thermobox heat-retention system consists of three pairs of flaps with magnetic closure arranged behind each other at a defined distance. With a U-value of 2.2 W/(m²K), Thermobox clearly stands out from conventional wall conducts (approx. 25 W/(m²K)) and achieves an insulating effect comparable to that of insulated glazed windows. In a closed system, two completely insulated air chambers are formed. A reflective layer on the inward facing first pair of flaps reduces the transmittance at the inlet of the system and thus prevents additional heat losses. In contrast, conventional wall conducts have simple backflow flaps that are not suitable for installation in the wall facade of energy-efficient or energy-refurbished house types due to their lack of thermal insulation properties.
