RAV4 factory ride quality restored
We are the original owner of our 2013 RAV4. There's been construction on the highway a lot lately and the rough transitions on the road made it clear the factory shocks were getting a little tired. These swapped in easily and with new ball joints and bushings the car rides like new. She's ready for another 200,000 miles.

Not Made In China
Had my oil changed at service center, asked them to rotate tires. They wouldn't rotate because, they said, I needed to replace rear shocks. Said they would do it for only$655.04 plus tax. Stopped by auto parts store on way home and bought 2 rear shocks (Monroe) at $179.00 for pair. Looked up exact same brand and part # shock on Amazon for like $77.00 for pair but this pair of Monroes said "made in China". The Auto Parts store shocks said Made in America - at over twice Amazon Price. I avoid buying anything made in China, but Amazon as well as almost any distributor is reluctant to state "country of origin" up front in their product details. After a little research I found KYB shocks (recommended to be slightly better than Monroes). Amazon detailed the KYBs as Made in Japan. Well, I thought, Toyotas are made by Japan, and they are one of our few remaining allies, and KYB shocks are made there (and dozens of other countries) so I purchased the KYBs. Turns out my particular shocks were actually made in Mexico - as was my Toyota RAV4 - and KYB are considered the stock shock for my vehicle. Shocks arrived a full week ahead of scheduled delivery date. They were as easy to install as shocks are - which is a lot of work. But I got them installed and the car unjacked in 4 hrs total - thats 3 hours for the first one and one hour for the second one. I paid Amazon $156.85 for my KYB shocks and a $12.83 ratching adjustable angle end wrench. So, I kept $498.19 difference( between the auto service shop and Amazon) in my pocket, and the shocks seem OK. If you are physically able to do job yourself - avoid the service shops, and any products "made in China" Buy USA made, or at least made in a country somewhat friendly to us. Amazon - Please state where your products are made.

En un principio sentí que no absorbía bien, pero luego de conducir en area rural quedé complacido.

My car drives like a dream
I recently did some front and back end work on my car. I also installed rear shocks. Now my old jalopy drives like a sports car!!! I do have some bad roads to traverse and my car isn't bouncing around like it was before the installation. I was told to buy these shocks by my mechanic. He did mention that they may be a bit pricy but it's a good product. I agree.
