I knew that anything that would bear his name would have had to been produced with care as I assume there is a company in the background that has to give permission to use his designs. He was an amazing artist, home decorator, etc. and worth your while to study up on him. I love the above quote and try to live by it.I got the fabric today and I am impressed with it. It can be hard to get fabric online as we can not feel it or see it, especially when buying cotton quilting fabric. It is not unusal to get fabric that is practically see through and as light a weight that a facial tissue. This fabric is a heavy quilting cotton and would be great not only in a quilt but soft furnishings such as cushions, curtains, tableclothes, totes, etc.The designs in these fat quarters are great and they are large. Many of the pieces go with each other and come in large bold prints. Not all the pieces go together by color, but at least one fabric goes with another fabric in the pack. Some of the fabric has multiple pieces that go together. I will have to think hard about what I will make with these fabrics as this is a rare purchase for me to find and I don't want to waste it by chopping it into 2" finished squares that just fill in a scrap quilt. I am very happy with this fabric.I appreciate the opportunity to try out this fabric. Thank you.

This is not cotton. Polyester. I wish I could give 0 stars. False advertising.

This does not look like William Morris designs. It lacks the detail his work contains. It resembles William Morris. The "cotton" fabric is stiff and feels cheap. I gave 2 stars because it arrived quickly and did contain fabric - just not as described.

I love these prints so much! The fabric did have a decidedly chemical smell when it first arrived so I did not skip washing and drying it before sewing with it. The smell washed right out. The fabric didn't shrink much but the edges did fray a bit more than usual in the wash and they came out very wrinkled. I gave them a good press before putting them away. The prints are beautiful and go together so well. I can't wait to find a project to use them on.
