Wow! Better than expected. It quickly diminishes cooking odors along with cigarette smoke and weeper smells. Covers a 1500 square fit 1st floor that isn’t open but has a huge room and 5 others with walls and doorways.

We purchased the Bosch Air Purifier after researching similar products. The purifier arrived as promised, and was easy to assemble. Within 24 hours, we noticed a significant increase in the air quality in our 2,800 sqft home. We have two small dogs, we clean constantly, but it wasn't until we purchased the Bosch Air Purifier that the odor went away.We highly recommend this air purifier for pet owners!

I like the air cleaner I use it on the 3rd fan setting it never shuts off. I have 3 cats and an Golden Retriever. Very quiet and works great! I clean it every 2 months

I am comparing this unit against two competing medium-high end units from a different but well known brand that were needed to clean a similar air volume. The older units seemed awesome until we unboxed and tested this unit against them.First off, aesthetically this Bosch unit really looks great. The plastic is high quality, the display and lighting ring looks great and communicates air quality information quickly and from a distance. The night (moon icon) feature allows you to turn off the lights and display and have this thing be completely dark. Other brands seem to insist on having at least one LED on, which can be annoying if you don't want the extra light in your space. I love that this unit goes completely dark!Second, noise level. If you turn this unit all the way up to maximum it is definitely noisy, but still maybe half or less as much as our older units (which have less than half the capacity of this unit!). On its lowest modes I cannot hear this unit over background noise, it (to me) sounds completely silent. On the lower levels it is extremely quiet compared to our older units, it sounds whisper quiet.Third, as far as sensors go this unit really has a better array of sensors than most other medium end purifiers from a year or two ago. The temperature and humidity sensors get to be spot on after about 2 minutes of running, and the particulate sensor seems much more accurate than the units we tested against (again, similar price, top tier brand). The VOC sensor is a nice inclusion and seems accurate.Finally the filter itself is easy to change and due to the capacity of this unit represents a significant decrease in cost over our older units which required 2x as many filters for the space.

The media could not be loaded. The BOSCH Air purifier is absolutely incredible. After trying out several cheaper options for home purifiers, I opted to order this larger unit and will never go back. Now this unit is definitely large and will work best in larger, open rooms. However, it will work great for any home, office, or area where air quality is not always best.Set up was incredibly easy. The unit comes with several quick start up guides and a large instruction manual. After removing the plastic bag from the outside of the unit, it is important to also remove the plastic wrap from around the filter as well. Simply plug the unit in and select the function desired. I opted to leave the unit on automatic. This setting automatically adjusts the fan speed and filtration based on the environment. Other options include timer settings and fan speeds. In the left corner of the setting screen, a filter assessment option is available. Upon set up, the unit should read 100% for filter. Cleaning instructions for the unit and filter are included and should be followed closely to prevent accidental damage.While in use, the unit will illuminate to indicate air quality. When first plugged in, the band of color light around the top of the unit will cycle through the available colors while determining current air quality. The screen will display the quality information as well. Once both have been determined, the light will illuminate a solid color to indicate the air quality. I am absolutely fascinated by this function! A few hours after set up, my teen decided to make popcorn. With an open concept house, the popcorn smell will permeate each room quickly and linger. The light changed from blue to red on the unit almost instantly. Within thirty minutes, I noted the light was back to blue. The smell was almost completely gone. While I cannot say for sure that this removed the smell completely, it certainly pickup up on the change of the air and showed when the air was back to a great quality.I am incredibly impressed with this air purifier. It has already worked much better than other units I have tried in the past. It is a more expensive price point, but I cannot recommend this product enough for homes, offices, and areas that have lower air quality.

Actually, it's not, when you remember that it covers a large area - My daughter has an 1100 sq ft home and we tried it out there (she shares with her 11 year old, dog, cats) - it works great. Can no longer smell evidence that stinky boy lives there, or that there are cats and a dog either. It was so easy to set up - can use straight out of the box.
