I was looking for a futon-style single bed that wouldn't take up too much space during the day, but then be able to provide a quick guest bed at night. Seeing the MeMoreCool chair here, it looked ideal.The chair comes vacuum-packed and rolled up. After opening you need to leave it for a couple of days to expand back into shape. I found that this was more effective and even if the outer cover was unzipped first. Once the foam had expanded back it was easy enough to put it back into the outer (which is a soft feel towelling style washable fabric) and then set the chair to be a chair. The foam is soft so you do sink into it and I also found that when in chair orientation, you do need the back to be supported against something otherwise it folds backwards. Converting into a bed is very easy - just fold the back down backwards and then fold the seat cushion forwards to make a futon-style bed. It is very comfortable to sleep on and the angled rise to the back means less need for a lot of pillows.This has been one of the best purchases I have had recently after a bout of COVID in the family meant needing to isolate further. It proved the chair makes for a comfortable bed and has also helped isolation and no one else in the family has caught COVID this time round.

It doesn't retain the shape as in the image, was packaged in a vacuum bag, after 2 days out it didn't expand or go to a shape as in the advertisement images.It just feels and looks deflated without any sturdiness to it.

Its delivered very compactly packed in a roll. As its memory foam it needs a couple of days to fully expand and air out. Easy enough to open out and fold up again. I suspect it is alright for occasional use but will update in due course.ETA: this is not really suited to sleeping due to the slope especially if you are average height or taller. Son found it comfortable to lie on but head kept slipping off, he is around 5’ 10”.

I ordered this mattress sofa for my little one, who still slept in our room and needed a mattress for her to sleep in at night. It was recommended to leave the mattress for a few days for it to settle completely, but waiting for only one or two days was fine for us. The mattress is also very compatible, turning into a sofa when not in use during the day, saving space as well. From the feedback I got from my son, the mattress is very comfortable for him and of good size.Overall, a good quality, space-saving mattress sofa. I hope this review helped you.
