Tried another brand, regretted it. Happrun is the only one I'll buy now.
I bought this in October of 2023. I'm a smoker and never once thought about what might happen to a projector while I literally SIT RIGHT UNDER IT and smoke. Needless to say, the image was getting dimmer slowly, and I chalked it up to being cheap. A little longer of this and I finally realized it was ME ruining my projector. I tried cleaning it, taking it apart, but chickened out when it looked to difficult to come back from if I made a mistake. I ordered a YezMek brand cause I thought electronic focus and tilt would be "neat". The first projector from them had a blue rectangle in the center of the screen about two days after the warranty ended. They sent me a new one anyway and up until last week it was fine. It's getting the blue rectangle. And that electronic tilt? I watched a YouTube video about projectors and that electric tilt reduces resolution! The mirrored tilt is better, which THIS projecter, the one I killed had. I still have it, I might try and clean it again, but as soon as bills let up a bit, I'm absolutely buying another one of the Happrun projectors. It was wonderful.

Worth the price! Great for outdoor use as well.
The HAPPRUN projector1080p resolution with support for 4K content, delivering crisp and detailed images. Its brightness rating stands at 400 ANSI lumens, which is adequate for darkened environments but may struggle in well-lit rooms. The inclusion of HDR 10+ enhances color vibrancy and depth, contributing to an immersive viewing experience .However, some users have noted that the image sharpness can be inconsistent, particularly at the edges of the screen. Additionally, while the projector performs admirably in controlled lighting conditions, its brightness may not suffice for daytime outdoor use .⸻📺 Smart Features & StreamingOne of the standout features of this projector is its integration with Google TV, providing access to a wide array of streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube without the need for external devices. The inclusion of Google Assistant allows for voice-controlled navigation, enhancing user convenience .The projector supports both Google Cast and AirPlay, facilitating seamless content sharing from smartphones, tablets, or laptops. This versatility ensures compatibility across various devices and platforms. ⸻🔊 Audio QualityEquipped with built-in dual stereo speakers, the HAPPRUN projector delivers clear and balanced sound suitable for casual viewing. For those seeking a more immersive audio experience, the projector’s Bluetooth 5.2 capability allows for easy connection to external speakers or headphones .It’s worth noting that while the built-in speakers are adequate for indoor use, they may not provide sufficient volume for outdoor settings.⸻📡 Connectivity & CompatibilityThe projector offers a comprehensive range of connectivity options, including dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G and 5G), Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI, USB, AV, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This array of ports ensures compatibility with various devices such as gaming consoles, laptops, smartphones, and streaming sticks .However, some users have reported occasional Wi-Fi connectivity issues, necessitating router resets to restore the connection .⸻🛠️ Setup & PortabilityThe HAPPRUN projector features auto-focus and 6D keystone correction, simplifying the setup process and ensuring a clear, rectangular image within seconds of startup. Its compact dimensions (9.5 x 8.3 x 3.8 inches) and lightweight design enhance portability, making it suitable for various settings, including bedrooms, backyards, or camping trips .

Darn good entry into projectors or experimenting
Happron H1 Projector has been great so far. I have never owned a projector before, so I have nothing to compare it to, cheap or expensive. But for $70, I can't imagine anyone would be disappointed. The light output seems ok, but I can't use it on anything but very minimal or no lighting. The clarity of the image, while it is 1080P, looks like what you might expect from a 720p television. Good, way better than an old 480i CRT television, but not quite as crisp as a true 1080 LCD TV. Colors are accurate enough, I haven't been able to notice anything wrong with color reproduction, and colors are well saturated. All that being said, the middling picture quality (compared to a1080p tv) is way overshadowed by the AWESOMENESS of enjoying a theater sized image in your living room. It is soooo enjoyable and immersive, you forget your not watching a high end 4k image. Also I tried it on a cheap $70 120" screen from Walmart that came with two vertical stands, but that screen let half the light go right through it onto the wall behind, ruining the picture quality and causing distracting images on the wall. So I got a Elite Screens Manual B 110" screen and it's 200 percent better. You could also do pretty well with a smooth white or gray wall I think, I just didn't have a wall that was suitable. The sound from the built in speakers is also better than I expected, and perfectly serviceable for casual viewing. However it is awkward and distracting having audio coming from behind you and not from the screen area. So I have my media players going to my soundbar first, which extracts the audio, and send picture to the Happron. This was I also maintain quality, Atmos/5.1 surround sound, and avoid any audio sync issues. Speaking of audio sync, I paired the projector to the same soundbar with Bluetooth, and I had major sync issues. However, when I connected my Chromecast with Google TV to the soundbar with Bluetooth, sync was mostly fine. But I'll stick with the HDMI to soundbar first method.I'm pretty impressed with this projector overall, and I think it's a great entry into projectors to see if you'll enjoy and use one enough to justify a more expensive one. Or for occasional or casual use like me, this might be all you need. I'm gonna stick with this one for a while.
