I bought this for my grand baby who is 4 months old.I was hesitant to try it on him since it’s not recommended for infants. So I put it over us when I was laying with him. This way I could watch him closely. It did let him sleep longer. I loved it myself.The weight was perfect. I used it over him when I was strolling him one evening and he loved it. Fell asleep. The material is very soft.I will be getting many of these in the near future as gifts.,It’s the perfect gift for children.

I bought this on recommendation from family and friends who have weighed blankets and I have to say that I wasn’t impressed at first with the sleeping benefits.This blanket is the prettiest pale pink color and with my blah gray color palette is cheerful. One side is extremely soft and silky, the other is more cotton sheet like. When I first tried it I put it on top of my regular sheets, by the morning it had slid off my bed. Besides that I felt smooshed and confined.After a few nights of claustrophobia and a bed blankets all over the place I decided to put the weighted blanket first with the silky soft side against my skin and leave enough room at the bottom so my feet aren’t covered by the weight and didn’t get smashed. Love it! Solved the problem of tornado bed and I get the full effect of a weighted hug. I think 15# is a perfect weight for me- I weigh around 150#.I am not sure how this will wash (the quality is nice) and am not sure how this will be in the summer (it’s perfect for winter-very cozy) but so far I really like it and maybe it does help me sleep a little better.

I love the fuzzy side for the winter, I will turn it over for the summer. It is just the right weight too. Keeps me calm at night. My kiddo is loving this blanket. He struggles with hyperactivity, and sometimes has a really hard time settling down for the night. I noticed that he always did better when I would snuggle next to him and wrap my arms around him. He seemed to relax under the pressure, so I wondered if something like a weighted blanket would make a difference for him. It hasn't taken away all of our bedtime issues, but he does fall asleep faster and stays asleep all night. The weight distribution is really good, and it creates a nice pressure without feeling suffocating. He also loves that it's fuzzy and super soft, so I'm calling this one a win!

I love this blanket! Before I could even get to the blanket there was an assurance of assistance offered. That in and of itself made me feel better. Also, there was a thank you for your purchase card. That let me know they appreciated my purchase. This is what I consider “e-customer service” at its best. I felt like someone spoke those words to me with a smile. That matters to me in a world where human contact and a smile are at a minimal. Once the blanket was used, I felt like someone was holding me all night. I felt comforted and safe. Never thought I could feel that way with a blanket. I do pray the company that makes/sells these have all the prosperity their hearts can hold for making me feel the way I’ve needed to since my multiple losses. And I pray everyone that uses this blanket feels better than I do. And that’s saying a whole lot!!

I never thought these weighted blankets were just a passing thing but I experienced a great night's sleep at a friend's house with one so I bought this one. It's very well made and it works so well.
