Bit easier to use. Scratches easily, good detection for traveling with.
Compared to other models, this device is easier to use and it is not as difficult to learn. The device does a decent job with detection and works better at locating any hidden cameras and such. This is a small tool for infrared sensor and bug detection but the attachments are not something that you can easily store together as this does not come with any kind of bag. I like that there is a probe kind of device to help you locate the bug device in harder to reach places. There is also an led light at the end of the probe to give you better view but it is not a camera unfortunately. This does the job while also giving you a bunch of options to detect different bug signals as well as having the infrared viewing to pick up hidden cameras which is an added bonus. You just need to look through the glass infrared in order to see any cameras and it actually works pretty well for the most part. It is not hard to look through. I did try it with my security cameras and you do pick up a flicker from the camera more so during night vision. It has a pretty wide glass so you do not have to squint. I did try this with different GPS device to see if it were to pick up the signal and it does. It requires a bit more proximity and directional unlike a wand. You have to actually point the probe at the area in order to locate the signal. It is not something you can wave around to find the signal. When testing it, the device detected it pretty right away after I got close to the device. The controls are a bit more complex than those spy wands so it does take some time to learn and really understand. The video definitely helped me learn. This is definitely more compact than other devices as you can put this in your purse or backpack. It does use an older port to charge (micro USB) which is a bit of a bummer. There is a material is a simple plastic so it should not have any effect on the reading but the probe is magnetic so you can easily pull the spy device out as needed. The device does last for quite sometime on one charge. I do not use it very long so I do not have to worry about it dying on me. It will just reflect a light back as you if you are seeing a camera which is a nice plus. You are able to locate hidden cameras that may be in the area that may not be sending a signal. It is a small device so it is something you can easily carry with you. Overall this device is great to have if you want something to help you detect any hidden devices that could be recording or tracking. Again this is more direct to help you locate the device over just waving it around. It is easier to use compared to other devices.

Artificial Intelligence Auto-Scan takes the drudgery out of localizing surreptitious surveillance
I spent some time reviewing a number of reviews of bug detectors I found online. The JMDHKK antispy bug detector was favorably rated in several of the reviews. The features that sold me on this device over those of the competitors were:1. It had the three major bug-finding technologies in one unit. While many others also had RF, magnetic, and camera searching and identifying capabilities there were two featurew of this unit that distinguished from the competitors' products - it can detect both wired and wireless bugs, and the radiofrequncy spectrum it detected was much wider covering more completely the higher frequencies currently in use by contemporary wireless bugs.2. The multimodality alarms in the instrument -light, sound, and vibration made it readily accessible to those with impairments in sight and hearing.3. Because of the temporal and inteindirvidual variability in manually localizing bugs, the Artificial Intelligence autoscan eliminates the need for repeated assessments and takes far less time to find the bug.4. Finally I found the JMDHKK to not only be reasonably priced but to give the "most bang for the buck" over other detectors in that price range.Overall, I am quite satisfied with all of the feqturew of this device. Friends agree and frequently try to borrow it.

Gimic Device
This is a cheaply made gimic device. The battery lasts for quite a while but really it doesn't detect things effectively. Sure it can chime in at you from RF signals but in the real world there is so much background RF everywhere that its easy to get false positives. And its not really useful for detecting "spy" gear. This is more of a gimic than practical device. It does have a flashlight which, if you don't have a cheap flashlight handy might be useful. However you're better off just buying a quality flashlight.

Built sturdy
Fun for play somewhat useful but feel as though it’s more of a novelty so kindve disappointed. Doesn’t give the sense of security i was hoping for. Nor is it something that is minimal “know how” with ease and simplicity i feel like. I suppose if one knew how to use more accurately maybe it’d be more useful but not really sure

Simple Device for Travel Peace of Mind
The media could not be loaded. I picked up this device for my frequent hotel stays and its pretty straightforward to use! been testing it for about three weeks now in different places and the basic controls are easy to figure out. nice that it doesnt make any noise while scanning so you can be discrete about checking your surroundings. compact enough to fit in my laptop bag without taking up much space. really like having both magnetic and signal detection options depending what youre looking for. few things to note tho - takes some practice to understand what the different alerts mean and sometimes you need to go over the same spot twice to be sure. battery life is decent but keep an eye on the indicator cause it can die pretty quick when using all features at once. tried it in various rooms and spaces and its sensitive enough to pick up regular electronics so you gotta learn which signals to ignore. makes travel feel more secure especially in unfamiliar places. interface is simple with just a few buttons to learn. just remember to charge it before trips cause theres no backup battery option and maybe practice using it at home first to understand how it responds to normal electronics. handy having something portable for quick checks without drawing attention.
