Gutermann Invisible Thread 273 Yards-Smoke

I used the product to top stitch around dark windows in a landscape quilt. Worked perfectly.

This invisible thread is strong and is invisible, even in sunlight. No glare shining back at me from my project.

This remarkably inexpensive invisible threan (IT) works well, and is almost aas strong as Kevlar. Arguably, it could have lost one star for not being as invisible as I'd like-- it's a bit too shiny, and needs touching up with a Sharpie); but then, it gained an extra star because there's no need to spend extensive time carefully stripping it: you just unwind how much you want, wax-tack it, and you're good to go. Since five minus one, plus one, equals five, it gets my five stars.

I have not used this thread yet but the clear made by the same people works great. It is a little thinner than other thread which to me make it better.

I love using this thread to make machine sewn wigs. Using this particular type has increased the durability of my units.

Is perfect to use on patches

Surprised how easily this tangles up. I bought it thinking it would replace having lots of colors just for mending. It's wiry and kinky compared to standard stewing thread. It might be good for beading or some other special application.
