If the device states a limit of 256 gb then no it will not work with anything bigger.

Q: Does this work with the MacBook early 2015? A bit disappointed nothing is happening...

It worked and still works just fine on my MacBook Pros (2014 and 2019).

Please allow me to explain that this device causes a MicroSD card to behave exactly like a flash drive. We have not tested this reader with your tablet model, I recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm. However, logically if the Chrome Book can detect and use a flash drive while it is connected via an OTG cable, it should detect this device as well.
