Eckman Lightweight 9ft 2¼in Long Reach Telescopic Hedge Trimmer

I have tried to return this product and the postage label states that you need to pay return postage However quick response from seller and collection arranged at no cost to myself. So overall a satisfactory experience. A little heavier than expected too, but overall satisfied with the outcome

Great for that tall hedge, excellent cutting blade, only problem quite heavy when holding vertical to cut top of hedge, good value

everyone's hedge will be different, that said for my hedge that is tall and wide, the machine not only is heavy to hold (short bursts are ok) but at the same time I have to twist the machine so that the chain saw blade is parallel with the hedge. If I held the thing up as it is I would cut into not along the hedge. At the top of the hedge I have thick branches that the machine cannot cut so it gets snagged up at worst, and some branches too far back for the saw to reach. The end result is that I am unable to cut a flat top to the hedge. Being top heavy, have to be careful when finishing a high cut, and bringing the blade back down, the blade is likely to crash to the ground and could be damaged. I find the strap awkward to put on, so it is not very user friendly. I'd give it 2 out of 10 for user friendliness. But other people may have had better hedges to cut or stronger to hold than I am. The trigger is at the far end of the machine so one arm is always stretched out far behind you, and easy to trip on the cable - for which there aren't any points on the machine to wrap the cable round when storing. Not very impressed.

First of all the packaging was badly damaged when it arrived. I gave the company the benefit of doubt as they cannot control the delivery company. However, worse was to come as the wrong part was sent in the box. Basically one part did not fit onto the other part. It did not help that the instructions are very badly written and a waste of time. Just dreadful. I have beeb trying for a week to return the item but despite several e mails and phone calls it is still in my garage.

Perfectly brilliant fast and easy to use. Trims & cuts all types and all heigh hedges ‘ fur tress etc

Disappointed that the ad showed a female using it. I can only use it for a few minutes far to heavy. And difficult to start it as the switches are not close enough together.
