We have Philips Hue throughout the inside of the house. Bought these for the outside and they are great. Look great, nice and bright and the nice thing is that you can change the colitis and operate from the app

As with most Phillips products it's well made in aluminium and plastic with a glass front so won't suffer from any corrosion anytime soon! Luminosity is bright enough for most situations if being used as a front door outside light and the wiring is simple enough just don't forget to make a note of the serial No on the back for connecting to the app. Connects easily to the Echo using the serial No and is easy to control from the app of by voice.

The Philips hue range is diverse, but expensive, compared to other options, but the hue app works seamlessly with all the Philips hue lights I have, this one is definitely worth a mention, you can change the colour and brightness a lot. Really sturdy nicely made. This one is quite big but really nice.

I purchased this to replace our porch light at the front of the house. I teamed it up with the Hue Outdoor Sensor and they work beautifully. I have not changed the light colour but clearly have the option to do so.As with anything "hue" its beautifully made, however for the price I would have expected them to have included fixings and to have punched out the fixing points. Small negatives which make fitting it slightly longer than it could have been.

The location of the hole for the wires was in an awkward position for my location, but workable.Nice light. Unique.

Besides the obvious attraction of adding to my Philips Hue gismo's - I was fed up with buying outside lights which lasted a couple of months before either failing completely or flashing randomly when it felt like it! On receiving this item it felt solid and a quality well made item. It was easy to fit and set up with a very good back plate for easily fitting to my wall and getting perfectly level. It gives off a light capable of illuminating the biggest patio. Now i can sit on the patio, switch it on and change the colour to suit the mood of the evening without getting off my chair - perfect. I am considering buying a PIR sensor too which will complete my set up...... for now!!

We bought 2of these outside lights and both are letting in water .phillips have agreed to replace but we will have to stand the cost of having an electrician remove and refit the new ones when they arrive. Would not buy these expensive for what they are and if faulty you will considerably out of pocket

My husband fitted this on our balcony in place of the boring dirty 30 year old plastic thing that he has hated for many years. It took him no time at all, which greatly pleased us both.It connected to our bridge, and now works alongside all the others in our living room. It now connects the balcony to the living room with the continuous colour scheme.Yes, it wasn’t cheap, none of the hue products are, but you get what you pay for. We love them all.
